In the ITYFL, in a low scoring week that will only benefit former champ and manager of the month for the last two months, Jeff Franklin. Who is edging ever closer to being a two-time champ. He had a 35 point week, to stretch his lead at the top to 41 points, thanks to captain Haaland (4) Kane (8) Martinelli (6) Mitoma (5) Gakpo (3) and Raya (3).
Double champ Danny Milton remains in second place following a weekly score of 30 points. His contributions came from captain Haaland (4) Kane (8) Mitoma (5) Gakpo (3) and Kepa (3). In joint sixth, but seventh for the purpose of this is Philippines native Jean Ninal, with a very decent 50 point weekly score, thanks to captain Haaland (4) Mahrez (10) Salah (10) Kane (8) and Martinelli (6). But it could have been much better, had she not left 14 point Toti on the bench.
My old football clubmate Darren Ahmet remains in eighth place despite his disappointing weekly score of 28 points, with his main contributions coming from captain Haaland (4) Salah (10) Mitoma (5) and Gakpo (3). Consolidating his tenth place and closing the distance on me in ninth, due his 51 point weekly score is another former work colleague Mr James. Thanks to the likes of captain Salah (20) Odegaard (10) Alexander-Arnold (7) and Martinelli (6). This week’s Highest Scorer is my long-time mate Bob Maroon, who scored a superb 65 point week. Doing the business were captain Salah (20) Odegaard (10) Ramsdale (10) Kane (8) and Alexander-Arnold (7). But it could have been even better, had he not left 21 point McNeil on the bench.
