I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON TEN
WEEK 15
This midweek in the Premier League, Arsenal got a dramatic last-second goal at Luton to win 4-3 and stay top of the league. Aston Villa shocked Man City, beating them 1-0 at home. Everton brushed past a tired Newcastle 3-0 at home to move out of the bottom three.
Man Utd beat Chelsea 2-1 at home. West Ham came from a goal down to beat Spurs 2-1 away. Fulham destroyed Notts Forest 5-0 at home. Bournemouth got a credible 2-0 win at Crystal Palace.
Liverpool beat Sheff Utd away by the same score. Brighton beat Brentford 2-1 at home, and Wolves beat Burnley 1-0 at home.
In a low-scoring ITYFL, after just a few days off the top, Owen Barnes is once again leading the league, thanks to his decent 40 point weekly score. Due to the likes of captain Salah (6) Hee Chan (10) Leno (6) Porro (5) and Saka (5).
My coaching partner Francis Norville had a short-lived time at the top, but that should motivate him as he moved down to second, due to a disappointing weekly score of 28 points. His contributions came from captain Haaland (4) Mbeumo (6) Saka (5) Salah (3), and Kluivert (3).
Moving down to third place is my oldest son, under his alias Tommy Devito, due to an even more disappointing 23 point week. Only captain Saka (10) provided any significant points. Former champ ahem Charles Denton stays in fourth due to his 39 point weekly score. Following captain Haaland (4) Hee Chan (10) Saka (5) Ederson (4), and Darwin (3).
Staying in fifth is my blood brother Wayne Watson, following his weekly score of 36 points. Due to captain Haaland (4) Martinez (9) Mbeumo (6) Saka (5) Salah (3) and Sarabia (3). My middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie stays in sixth, also with a 36 point weekly score. His contributions were from captain Saka (10) Branthwaite (6) Mitoma (5), and White (4).
Sanjay Beecher stays in seventh, making it a trio of managers with a weekly score of 36 points. This was due to captain Salah (6) Kelleher (6) Mbeumo (6) Mykolenko 6), and Mitoma (5). My Spurs mate Keith Wilson moves up to eighth, with a decent 41 point week. Thanks to captain Haaland (4) Romero (9) Bowen (7) Leno (6), and Mbeumo (6).
This sees former champ, champ Danny Milton move down to ninth, following his 32 point weekly score. His contributions came from captain Haaland (4) Palmer (8) Mbeumo (6), and Saka (5).
This week’s Highest Mover was my oldest nephew Tyrell Miles-Brown. He moved up six places from 16th to 10th, thanks to a very decent weekly score of 54 points, which also made him this week’s Highest Scorer. Doing the business was a smart captain choice of Alexander-Arnold (24), also Mbeumo (6) Pau (6) Mitoma (5) and Ederson (4).
It’s a quick turnaround to the weekend games. Full steam ahead to week 16. Make it count y’all.
