I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON TEN
WEEK 29
This week, in a reduced Premier League schedule of just four games, Fulham destroyed Spurs 3-0 at home, while Burnley defeated Brentford 2-1 at home. Aston Villa drew 1-1 at West Ham, and Notts Forest drew 1-1 at Luton.
In the ITYFL, with just four games, points were at a premium. But it’s much to the benefit of league leader Sanjay Beecher, who stays top via just two points thanks to his free hit, 20 point week. With main contributions from captain Son (4), the only player to earn more than two points.
My middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie moves into second place due to his free hit, 27 point weekly score, thanks to captain Son (4) Gibbs-White (7) and Martinez (5).
This week’s joint Highest Mover is the defending two-time champ Jeff Franklin, who moved up two places from 5th to 3rd, following his free hit weekly score of 28 points, with contributions from captain Son (4) Wood (9) and Gibbs-White (7).
Owen Barnes moved down to fourth, losing ground due to an 11 point weekly score. With only captain Son (4) providing any significant points.
Former double champ, Danny Milton is down to fifth, following his weekly score of 15 points, due to captain Son (4) and Areola (3). My oldest son, under his alias Tommy Devito, loses some ground in sixth place due to his 8 point week, contributed by just three players. Captain Watkins (4) Areola (3), and Douglas Luiz (1).
My coaching partner Francis Norville remains seventh due to his free hit, 19 point weekly score. With only Areola (3) scoring more than two points. In eighth is this week’s Highest Scorer, former champ, ahem Charles Denton, thanks to a weekly score of 38 points. Doing the business were captain Son (4) Robinson (11) Coufal (7), and Martinez (5).
Staying in ninth is my youngest son Latrell Oscar, following his 24 point weekly score, with only Gibbs-White (7) scoring more then two points. Moving into the top ten is my blood brother Wayne Watson following his wildcard 19 point week. Only Andreas (3) scoring more than two points.
This week’s other Highest Mover was Washington DC’s Greg Cabana, who moved up two places from 13th to 11th thanks to his free hit, 28 point weekly score, with only Coufal (7) scoring more than two points.
Unfortunately, we have the last international break for the season. See y’all on the other side.
