Fantasy Football S11 WEEK 5 Round Up

SEASON ELEVEN

WEEK 5

This week in the Premier League, Man City got a last-second equaliser to draw 2-2 at home to Arsneal in an intense and controversial game. Chelsea brushed West Ham aside away 3-0. Spurs came from a goal down to beat Brentford 3-1 at home.

Liverpool eased past Bournemouth 3-0 at home. Fulham got a commendable 3-1 home win over Newcastle. Forest got a late equaliser to draw 2-2 at Brighton. Everton got an even later equaliser to draw 1-1 at Leicester for their first point of the season, and Ipswich got an even later equaliser to draw 1-1 at Southampton.

In the ITYFL, my youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar has stormed back to the top of the table like he means business. He was this week’s Highest Scorer with a fantastic 110 point weekly score, the highest so far this season. Doing the business were captain Watkins (12) Diaz (16) N.Jackson (16) Alexander-Arnold (11) Rodgers (10) Sanchez (10) Konsa (9) Haaland (9) Palmer (8), and Mazroui (6).

This sees my blood brother Wayne Watson move down to second, some 37 points behind, following his 67 point week, with contributions from captain Haaland (18) Alexander-Arnold (11) Smith Rowe (8) Wood (8) Gabriel (7) and Salah (6).

Up to third place is the defending three-time champion Danny Milton, due to his decent weekly score of 76 points. Thanks to captain Palmer (16) Alexander-Arnold (11) Rogers (10) Haaland (9) Mbeumo (8) Smith Rowe (8), and Watkins (6).

My daughter, The OG Nae, in her debut season, has moved into the Champions League places in fourth, thanks to her 66 point weekly score. Due to captain Haaland (18) Alexander-Arnold (11) Konsa (9) Wood (8) Salah (6) Raya (4) and Saka (4).

This sees the two-time champ Jeff Franklin move down to fifth, just two points behind, with a modest weekly score of 55 points. Following captain Watkins (12) Dalot (9) Haaland (9) Smith Rowe (8) Mitoma (5), and Saka (5). Nordin Gharib moves up to sixth with an excellent 82 point week, thanks to captain Salah (12) Diaz (16) Alexander-Arnold (11) Dalot (9) Haaland (9) Smith Rowe (8) Welbeck (6) and Hudson-Odoi (4).

Up into seventh is Timothy Stigwood, also with an excellent weekly score of 82 points, thanks to captain Haaland (18) Diaz (16) Konsa (9) Konate (8) Palmer (8) Smith Rowe (8) Welbeck (6) and Saka (4). This sees Owen Barnes move down to joint seventh, due to a disappointing weekly score of 48 points, with contributions from captain Salah (12) Haaland (9) Smith Rowe (8) Gabriel (7) and Saka (4).

Kool FM’s Pressure X moves down to ninth, with a 60 point weekly score. Following captain Salah (12) Haaland (9) Palmer (8) Gabriel (7) De Ligt (6) Mazraoui (6), and Raya (4). Sneaking into the top ten at the expense of Yours Truly is my former work colleague and Spurs mate Keith Wilson, thanks to his 67 point week, due to captain Haaland (18) Diaz (16) Alexander-Arnold (11) Wood (8) and Watkins (6).

This week’s Highest Mover was my recent(ish) former work colleague and Chelsea fan Abdul Rahman. He moved up six places from 20th to 14th, following a decent weekly score of 70 points. Thanks to captain Haaland (18) Diaz (16) Alexander-Arnold (11) Palmer (8) Watkins (6), and Adama (4).
