Fantasy Football S11 WEEK 10 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON ELEVEN

WEEK 10

This week in the Premier League, Bournemouth ended Man City’s 32-game unbeaten run with a 2-1 home win. Newcastle defeated Arsenal at home 1-0 for the second season in a row. Liverpool came from a goal down to score two in two minutes to beat Brighton 2-1 at Anfield.

Fulham scored two goals in stoppage time to come from behind and beat Brentford 2-1. Tottenham also came from behind to brush Aston Villa aside 4-1. Notts Forest eased past West Ham 3-0 at home. Southampton got their first win of the season with a 1-0 home win over Everton.

Crystal Palace drew 2-2 at Wolves, Chelsea drew 1-1 at Man Utd, and Leicester scored a stoppage-time goal for the second week in a row to draw 1-1 at Ipswich.

In the ITYFL, my youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar remains top despite his modest 32 point weekly score. His main contributions came from captain Palmer (6) Rogers (9) Son (4), and Mbeumo (3).

The defending two-time champ, Danny Milton, is slowly but surely closing the gap to first place thanks to his decent 48 point week. With captain Haaland (4) Solanke (16) Rogers (9) Kulusevski (5) Mbeumo (3), and Palmer (3).

Moving up into third, flying the flag for JA & USA is October manager of the month Sanjay Beecher. Due to a very decent weekly score of 52 points, thanks mainly to captain Salah (18) Guehi (7) Kulusevski (5) Vardy (5) Van Dijk (5) and Mbeumo (3).

Down, but staying in a Champions League place, just a point behind third is my blood brother Wayne Watson, with a 45 point week. His main contributions were from captain Haaland (4) Salah (9) Guehi (7) Wood (7) Welbeck (5), and Flekken (4). Remaining in joint fourth is Owen Barnes, following a decent 47 point weekly score. Due to captain Haaland (4) Salah (9) Johnson (8)  Gvardiol (7) Sels (6) Welbeck (5) and Palmer (3).

Timothy Stigwood stays in sixth but lost ground on the above managers following his disappointing weekly score of 27 points. His only real contributions came from captain Haaland (4) Vardy (5) Welbeck (5), and Palmer (3). My daughter, The OG Nae, stays in seventh due to her 37 point week, with contributions mainly from captain Salah (18) and Wood (7).

This week’s Highest Scorer was Nordin Gharib, whose very decent 57 point weekly score moved him up to joint seventh. Doing the business was captain Salah (18) Aina (15) Wood (7) Palmer (3), and Raya (3). Simon Sebhat moves up to ninth following his decent 47 point week, with vice-captain Saka (4) B.Fernandes (10) Isak (9) Gvardiol (7) and Raya (3).

Moving down but making up the top ten by a point is my former work colleague and disappointed Arsenal man, Mr James. He notched a weekly score of 49 points, mainly due to captain Salah (18) Cunha (6) Sels (6) Welbeck (5) and Mbeumo (3).

This week’s Highest Mover is my former work colleague and Spurs man Keith Wilson. He moved up four places from 20th to 16th, thanks to his 42 point weekly score, following captain Haaland (4) Aina (15) Wood (7) Flekken (4) and Mbeumo (3).

We are officially a quarter of the way into the season. Full steam ahead to week 11. Make it count y’all.
