I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON ELEVEN
WEEK 12
This week in the Premier League, Tottenham shocked everyone by destroying City 4-0 in that Etihad. Liverpool came from 2-1 down to beat Southampton 3-2 away. Arsenal strolled past Notts Forest 3-0 at home.
West Ham surprised Newcastle with a 2-0 away win. Wolves destroyed Fulham 4-1 away. Ten-man Brighton held out for a 2-1 win at Bournemouth. Chelsea beat Leicester 2-1 away.
Crystal Palace drew 2-2 at Aston Villa, while 10-man Brentford held out for a credible 0-0 draw at Everton.
In the ITYFL, in a low-scoring week, some things stayed the same as my youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar, remains in pole position following a decent 50 point weekly score. Mainly due to Porro (14) Saka (11), and Solanke (5).
Moving up to second, closing the gap to just fifteen points, is Nordin Gharib, due to a very decent 68 point week. Thanks to captain Salah (26) Porro (14) Iwobi (7), and Raya (6).
Moving down to third is Sanjay Beecher, flying the flag for JA & USA, following a weekly score of 42 points, with contributions from captain Salah (26) and Fabianski (6).
Owen Barnes moves up into a Champions League place following a decent weekly score of 56 points, with captain Saka (26) Salah (13) and Gabriel (6).
This sees the defending three times champions Danny Milton move down to fifth due to his 48 point weekly score and contributions from Cunha (16) Raya (6) Timber (6), and Solanke (5). Also moving down into sixth is my blood brother Wayne Watson, with a 44 point week. Following Salah (13) Flekken (9) Gabriel (6), and Mario Jr (6).
Simon Sebhat moves up to seventh with a very decent weekly score of 63 points, thanks to a smart captain choice of Joao Pedro (24) Saka (13) Kelleher (7) Watkins (7) and Gabriel (6). This sees my daughter, The OG Nae, move down to eighth, following a 49 point week, with her main contributions coming from captain Salah (24) and Saka (11).
My former work colleague and Arsenal man Mr James, moved up to ninth due to his very decent 67 point weekly score. With captain Solanke (10) Cunha (16) Saka (13) Salah (13), and Gabriel (6). The first of this week’s joint Highest Movers is the two-time champ Jeff Franklin, who moved up three places from 13th to 10th thanks to an excellent wildcard weekly score of 72 points, which also made him this week’s Highest Scorer. Doing the business were captain Salah (24) Saka (13) Joao Pedro (12), and Flekken (9).
The second of this week’s joint Highest Movers is Coach Simz, Simeon Edwards, whose very decent weekly score of 65 points moved him up three places from 16th to 13th, thanks to captain Salah (26) N.Jackson (12) Joao Pedro (12) and Gabriel. (6). The third of this week’s joint Highest Movers, is my oldest nephew, Tyrell Miles-Brown. His 56 point week moved him up three places from 21st to 18th, due to Maddison (16) Porro (14) and Saka (13).
I am happy to say there will not be another international break until March. So, full steam ahead to week unlucky for some 13, and make it count y’all.
