I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON ELEVEN
WEEK 15
This week in the Premier League, Chelsea came back from two goals down to beat Spurs 4-3 away. Notts Forest produced another impressive away victory, beating Man Utd 3-2. Brentford maintained their formidable home form by defeating Newcastle 4-2.
Bournemouth came from a goal down to beat Ipswich 2-1 away. West Ham beat Wolves 2-1 at home. Aston Villa beat Southampton 1-0 at home. Crystal Palace got a credible 2-2 home draw against Man City.
Arsenal was denied a late winner, as they drew 1-1 at Fulham, and Leicester came from two goals down to score two late goals and rescue a point at home to Brighton.
In the ITYFL, Owen Barnes leads the league for a second week in a row, following a steady 51 point weekly score. Mainly due to captain Palmer (36) and Ait Nouri (4).
My youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar moved up into second, just four points behind, thanks to his weekly score of 58 points, with contributions from Palmer (16) Mbeumo (13) Wood (8) and Amad (5).
This sees Nordin Gharib move down to third, following a modest 45 point week, mainly due to Palmer (16) and Enzo (9).
Consolidating fourth place is my blood brother Wayne Watson, with a modest 46 point weekly score and main contributions from captain Haaland (14) Wood (8) Barnes (7) Wissa (7), and Ait Nouri (4).
Tightening the gap to fourth is, flying the flag for JA & USA, Sanjay Beecher. Due to a very decent 64 point week, thanks to captain Mbeumo (13) Bowen (12) Vardy (12) Haaland (7). and Kulusevski (7). The defending three times champ Danny Milton, stays in sixth, losing ground following his weekly score of 47 points, with captain Palmer (18) Kulusevski (7) Solanke (6) and Ait Nouri (4).
My former work colleague and Arsenal man Mr James stays in eighth, following a 53 point week, with contributions from Palmer (18) Vardy (12) Amad (5) and Lewis (4). My daughter, The OG Nae continues to defy the odds in her debut season, as she remains in eighth, following a modest 43 point weekly score, with Gibbs-White (13) Wood (8) Havertz (5) and Garnacho (4).
Simon Sebhat clings onto ninth, despite a disappointing weekly score of 36 points, due to B.Fernandes (9) Isak (8) and Ait Nouri (4). Storming up five places from fifteenth into tenth, just four points behind ninth, is this week’s Highest Mover and the current in-form manager, my recent(ish) former work colleague Abdul Rahman. He produced a superb 72 point week, making him this week’s Highest Scorer. Doing the business was mainly vice-captain Palmer (36) Mbeumo (13), and Vardy (12).
Full steam ahead to week 16, just one more game week before we hit the busy Christmas period. Make it count y’all.
