WEEK 24

In the Premier League, Notts Forest destroyed Brighton 7-0 at home. Arsenal destroyed Man City 5-1 at home. Everton destroyed Leicester 4-0 at home. Liverpool beat Bournemouth 2-0 away to maintain their lead at the top.

Crystal Palace beat Man Utd 2-0 away. Spurs beat Brentford away by the same score. Fulham beat Newcastle 2-1 away.

Wolves beat Aston Villa 2-0 at home. Southampton beat Ipswich 2-1 away to help their slim hopes of survival. Chelsea beat West Ham 2-1 at home.

And over a week later, but it was worth the wait. In the last Merseyside derby at Goodison park. Everton drew 2-2 at home to Liverpool with a dramatic, late controversial equaliser.

In the ITYFL, it seems the defending three-times champion Danny Milton has a strangle hold on this league as he sores to the top of the table thanks to a very healthy 128 point weekly score. Doing the business was captain Salah (58) Wood (17) Alexander-Arnold (7) Gakpo (7) Palmer (6) and a smart deployment of the new AM Moyes (22).

Nordin Gharib been bumped off the top spot into second, despite his decent 101 point week. Following captain Salah (58) Wood (17) Gakpo (7) and Palmer (6).

Owen Barnes remains in third due to a weekly score of 94 points with captain Salah (58) Alexander-Arnold (7) Gakpo (7) Aina (6) Palmer (6). But sadly, left Beto (22) on the bench.

My recent(ish) former work colleague Abdul Rahman stays in a Champions League place following his very decent 122 point weekly score. Thanks to captain Salah (58) Wood (17) J.Murphy (8) Sels (8) Alexander-Arnold (7) Gakpo (7) Aina (6) and Palmer (6).

Sanjay Beecher moves up into fifth, just four points behind thanks to an excellent 135 point week. Due to captain Salah (58) Gibbs-White (16) Pickford (10) Ndiaye (9) Mykolenko (7) Haaland (6) Virgil (6) and AM Slot (16). Also moving up, my blood brother Wayne Watson is up to sixth, following his very decent weekly score of 101 points. With captain Salah (58) Wood (17) Alexander-Arnold (7) Aina (6) Guehi (6) and Haaland (6).

This sees my youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar move down to seventh, due to an 88 point weekly score. His contributions came from captain Alexander-Arnold (14) Salah (29) Wood (17) Sels (8) Raul (8) and Palmer (6). Simon Sebhat moves up to eighth with a decent 107 point week, following captain Salah (58) Wood (17) Alexander-Arnold (7) Palmer (6) and Milenkovic (6).

In joint eighth is my former work colleague and Arsenal man Mr James, due to his weekly score of 96 points and contributions from Salah (29) Wood (17) Elanga (13) Sels (8) Mykolenko (7) and Palmer (6). My middle son, Jahsiah Tobierrie moves up into the top ten with a very decent 117 point week. Thanks to captain Salah (58) Wood (17) Sels (8) Alexander-Arnold (7) Gakpo (7) Palmer (6) and Robinson (4).

This week’s Highest Scorer in her debut season is my daughter, The OG Nae, with a superb 138 point weekly score, which also made her this week’s joint Highest Mover, as she moved up two places from 16^th to 14^th Doing the business was captain Salah (58) Wood (17) Gibbs-White (16) Havertz (12) Son (10) Robertson (8) Odegaard (6) and Robinson (4).

This week’s other joint Highest Movers were Pressure X, who moved up two places from 15^th to 13^th following a very decent 111 point week. With captain Salah (58) Wood (17) Pickford (10) Aina (6) Palmer (6) and Virgil (6). Also, my coaching partner Francis Norville, who moved up two places from 22^nd to 20^th due to his very decent weekly score of 116 points, with captain Salah (58) Wood (17) Sels (8) Alexander-Arnold (7) Palmer (6) Porro (6) and Odegaard (6).
