I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON ELEVEN
WEEK 31
This week in the Premier League, Liverpool beat West Ham 2-1 at home with a late goal to move a step closer to the title. Arsenal, with a Champions League aspiration, drew 1-1 at home to Brentford. Man City came down two goals to destroy Crystal Palace 5-2 at home.
Everton beat Notts Forest 1-0 away to dent Forest’s Champions League push. Newcastle brushed Man Unites aside 4-1 at home to boost their Champions League hopes. Aston Villa beat Southampton 1-0 away. Bournemouth beat Fulham at home by the same score.
Wolves beat Tottenham 4-2 at home. Chelsea, came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at home to Ipswich. Leicester finally got their first goal in nine games as they drew 2-2 at Brighton. In midweek, Newcastle destroyed Crystal Palace 5-0 to go third in the table.
In the ITYFL, the defending three times champ Danny Milton’s quest for a fourth title goes on as he scored a very decent 86 point weekly score. With, captain Isak (22). J.Murphy (19) Trippier (12) Marmoush (7) Sarr (7) Eze (6), and Salah (6).
This week’s Highest Scorer was Nordin Gharib in second, who closed the distance to just three points, making it a real title fight, thanks to his superb bench boost 103 point week. Doing the business were captain Isak (22) J.Murphy (19) Virgil (9) Livramento (8) Marmoush (7) Eze (6) Kerkez (6) Salah (6) Palmer (4), and from off the bench Sarr (6).
Not completely out of it, Sanjay Beecher, flying the flag for JA & USA, stays in third, following his weekly score of 66 points, due to captain Isak (22) Livramento (8) Burn (7) Konsa (7) Marmoush (7) Salah (6) and Strand Larsen (6).
Owen Barnes remains in a Champions League place due to a weekly score of 62 points and contributions from the likes of captan Salah (12) Ait Nouri (14) Isak (11) Semenyo (10) Marmoush (7), and Palmer (4).
My recent(ish) former work colleague Abdul Rahman stays in fifth place following his 62 points weekly score, with captain Isak (22) Livramento (8) Marmoush (7) Kerkez (6) Salah (6) and Palmer (4). But, could have done without leaving Semenyo (10) on the bench. In sixth is my youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar due to a 61 point week, his contributions come from captain Isak (22) Livramento (8) Burn (7) Marmoush (7) Salah (7) and Palmer (7).
Just a point being in seventh is my blood brother Wayne Watson, due to a decent weekly score of 78 points. Following captain Salah (12) Isak (11) Semenyo (10) Virgil (9) Wissa (9) Marmoush (7) Rogers (6), and AM Slot (8). Consolidating eighth is two-time champ Jeff Franklin, thanks to his very decent weekly score of 92 points. Due to triple captain Isak (33) J.Murphy (19) Burn (7) Marmoush (7) Sarr (7) Rogers (6) and Salah (6).
Moving up to ninth is my former work colleague Mr James, with a decent weekly score of 85 points, following captain Isak (22) J.Murphy (19) Joao Pedro (13) Marmoush (7) Rogers (6) Salah (6) and Rice (5). Moving down but staying in the top ten is my middle son, Jahsiah Tobierrie despite a modest 47 point week. His contributions come from Ait Nouri (14) Isak (11) Salah (6), and Palmer (4).
There was no Highest Mover this week as only five managers moved up and all just by one spot. They were Mr James, The OG Nae, Charles Denton. Pressure X and Keith Wilson.
