I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON ELEVEN
WEEK 32
This week in the Premier League, Liverpool beat Leicester 1-0 away to move within one win of becoming champions. Arsenal beat Ipswich 4-0 away. Man City beat Everton 2-0 away. Chelsea got a late goal to beat Fulham 2-1 away in the West London derby.
Wolves did the double over Man Utd with a 1-0 away win. Aston Villa destroyed Newcastle 4-1. Brentford beat Brighton 4-2 at home. Southampton scored a late goal to salvage a 1-1 draw at West Ham. Bournemouth drew 0-0 at Crystal Palace.
In midweek, Forest beat Spurs 2-1 away. Man City got a late goal to beat Aston Villa 2-1 at home, and Crystal Palace came back twice to draw 2-2 at Arsenal.
In the ITYFL, three-time champ Danny Milton has stretched his lead at the top to eight, thanks to his superb 91 point bench boost weekly score, to make him this week’s Highest Scorer. Doing the business was captain Salah (6) Kiwior (13) Mateta (10) Gvardiol (7) Saliba (7) Bradley (5) De Bruyne (5) Marmoush (4), and from off the bench Eze (10) Bowen (9) and Raya (7).
Nordin Gharib remains in contention in second, following his very decent 86 point week. With captain Marmoush (8) Trossard (24) Eze (10) Mateta (10) Gvardiol (7) Raya (7) Virgil (7), and De Bruyne (5)
Flying the flag for JA & USA, Sanjay Beecher remains third due to a 70 point bench boost week. Following captain Marmoush (8) Henderson (10) Rashford (9) Gvardiol (7) Saliba (7) Munoz (6) Marino (4) with a combined 11 points from four players off the bench, the highest being Martinez (4).
Moving up into the Champions League places is my recent(ish) former work colleague Abdul Rahman, thanks to his decent weekly score of 77 points. With captain De Bruyne (10) Mbeumo (10) Kerkez (8) Wood (8) Gvardiol (7) Marmoush (4) Merino (4), and AM Emery (11).
This sees Owen Barnes down to fifth, due to a modest 50 point week with captain Salah (6) Mbeumo (18) Alexander-Arnold (6) Ait Nouri (5) and Marmoush (4). My blood brother Wayne Watson continues his good recent form, as he moves up to sixth, with a weekly score of 57 points and contributions from captain Salah (6) Wissa (11) Rogers (7) Saliba (7) Virgil (7) Munoz (6) and Marmoush (4).
Two-time champ Jeff Franklin moves up to seventh, just two points behind, thanks to his decent bench boost 76 point week, following captain Marmoush (8) Henderson (10) Mateta (10) Gvardiol (7) Rogers (7) Saliba (7) and from off the bench Kiwior (13). My youngest son Latrell Oscar is down into eighth, five points behind, with a disappointing 49 point week. His main contributions came from captain Marmoush (8) Mateta (10) Rogers (7) Munoz (6) De Bruyne (5), and Merino (4).
My former work colleague Mr James stays in ninth following a bench boost 64 point week, with captain Marmoush (8) Watkins (12) Rice (8) Nwaneri (7) Rogers (7) Munoz (6) and De Bruyne (5). My middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie makes up the top ten with his 55 point weekly score, due to captain Salah (6) Mbeumo (18) Mateta (10) Ait Nouri (5), and Schar (5).
There was no Highest Mover this week, as the five managers who moved up, all moved up by just one place.
