I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON ELEVEN
WEEK 35
This week, in the Premier League. Aston Villa beat Bournemouth 1-0 away to boost their Champions League hopes. As did Newcastle, who beat 10-man Chelsea 2-0 at home. Everton surprised Fulham with a 3-1 away win.
West. Ham beat Man Utd 2-0 away. Crystal Palace beat Spurs away, also 2-0. As did Brighton, who beat Wolves away, also by the same score. Brentford beat Ipswich 1-0 away.
Arsenal came from two goals down at half time to draw 2-2 at champions Liverpool. Leicester got a late equaliser to draw 2-2 at home to dent Notts Forest’s Champions League hopes, and Southampton got a credible 0-0 draw at home to Man City.
In the ITYFL, three-time champ Danny Milton continues to have the league in a choke hold as he takes a healthy 49 point lead with just two game week’s to go, thanks to his decent 55 point week score, making him this week’s back-to-back Highest Scorer. Doing the business were triple captain De Bruyne (9) Wan-Bissaka (12) Bowen (8) Mbeumo (6), and Sarr (6).
Still trying to cling onto some hope going into the penultimate week of the season, Nordin Gharib stays second following a weekly score of 45 points, with captain De Bruyne (6) Eze (16) Elanga (7) and Gvardiol (6).
Sanjay Beecher, flying the flag for JA & USA, remains some way back but consolidating his third place, with his 53 point week, due to Munoz (11) Flekken (9) Elanga (7) Gvardiol (6) Mbeumo (6) and Konsa (5).
My recent(ish) former work colleague Abdul Rahman stays in a Champions League place, following a free hit 45 point week. His contributions came from captain De Bruyne (6) Munoz (11) Wood (8) Gvardiol (6), and Mbeumo (6).
In fifth is two-time champ Jeff Franklin, who closes the distance on fourth to just seven points, thanks to his decent 52 point weekly score, with captain Mbeumo (12) Flekken (9) Elanga (7) Gvardiol (6) Rogers (6) and Konsa (5). My youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar stays in sixth, just five behind, also due to a weekly score of 52 points, following captain Wood (8) Livramento (7) Gvardiol (6) Mbeumo (6) and Rogers (6).
Owen Barnes loses ground in seventh, following his disappointing 22 point week, with his only real contributions coming from captain Salah (4) and Mbeumo (6). My blood brother Wayne Watson also lost ground in eighth, due to his disappointing 24 point weekly score with main contributions from triple captain Salah (6) and Rogers (6).
My former work colleague, Mr James, remains in ninth following a weekly score of 37 points and contributions from Munoz (11) Trossard (7) and Mbeumo (6). Making up the top ten, just four points behind, is my middle son Jahisah Tobierrie due to a 39 point week, with captain Wood (8) Gvardiol (6) Mbeumo (6) and Schar (6).
Only two managers moved up a place this week, so technically are the Highest Movers, my oldest son, under his alias, Tommy Devito (Happy Birthday). And Kool FM’s Pressure X.
Lastly, well done to the four managers who have made it to the cup semi-final. Danny Milton, Tommy Devito, Jeff Franklin and The OG Nae. Good Luck.
Full steam ahead to the penultimate week of the season in midweek. Make it count y’all.
