Fantasy Football S12 WEEK 3 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON TWELVE

WEEK 3

This week in the Premier League, Liverpool scored a late wonder free kick to beat Arsenal 1-0 at Anfield, to remain the only team in the league with a 100% record. Brighton came from a goal down to beat Man City 2-1 at home. Chelsea beat Fulham 2-0 at home in a very controversial West London derby.

West Ham shocked Notts Forest with a 3-0 away win. Crystal Palace shocked Aston Villa, also with a 3-0 away win. Bournemouth upset Tottenham with a 1-0 away win. Everton beat Wolves 3-2 away.

Man Utd needed a stoppage-time penalty to beat Burnley 3-2 at home. Sunderland also scored a stoppage-time goal to beat Brentford 2-1 at home, and Newcastle drew 0-0 at Leeds.

In the ITYFL, former champ (ahem) Charles Denton maintains his top spot, this making him the August manager of the month, thanks to a 46 point weekly score, due to captain Haaland (18) Joao Pedro (9) Porro (4) Estevao (3) and Murphy (3).

Yours Truly remains in second, just nine points behind following my decent 50 point week and contributions from captain Haaland (18) Enzo (12) and Joao Pedro (9).

Ten points behind in third is Owen Barnes due to his weekly score of 44 points with Haaland (9) Joao Pedro (9) Livramento (6), and Sanchez (6).

My oldest son, under his alias Tommy Devito, moves down to sixth place, with a weekly score of 41 points. Due to triple captain Wood (6) Mbeumo (10) Joao Pedro (9), and Rice (4).

This week’s Highest Mover is two-time champ Jeff Franklin, who moves up a eight places from 15th to 7th, thanks to a very decent 57 point week, which also made him this week’s joint Highest Scorer. Doing the business were captain Mbeumo (20) Bowen (9) Joao Pedro (9) Sanchez (6), and Porro (4). Timothy Stigwood also moves up, into eighth place, with a decent weekly score of 49 points, due to captain Joao Pedro (18) B.Fernandes (10) and Virgil (8).

Simon Sebhat moves down to ninth, just a point behind, following a modest 34 point week, with contributions from Joao Pedro (9) Ndiaye (7) Porro (4) and Rice (4). Also moving down, but making up the top ten is Sanjay Beecher, flying the flag for JA & USA, due to a 48 point weekly score, with captain Salah (6) Haaland (9) Munoz (9) and Ndiaye (7).

This week’s other joint Highest Scorer is my oldest mate, Hayes and Yeading’s Delroy Freddie, who despite starting a week later, is already making up lost time, thanks to his very decent weekly score of 57 points, with captain Haaland (18) Alisson (8) Virgil (8) Burn (6) Kilman (6) and Mateta (5).

Unfortunately, we embark on the first international break of the season. So, I’ll see ya’ll in two weeks.
