Fantasy Football S12 WEEK 7 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON TWELVE

WEEK 7

This week in the Premier League, Chelsea confined Liverpool to back-to-back league defeats after a last-second goal secured a 2-1 home win. Crystal Palace lost their unbeaten run at Everton, who scored a stoppage-time goal to win 2-1. Arsenal eased past West Ham 2-0 at home to top the league.

Man City beat Brentford 1-0 away. Newcastle comfortably beat Notts Forest 2-0 at home. Spurs beat Leeds away 2-1. Bournemouth continued their good form as they came from behind to beat Fulham 3-1 at home.

Man Utd beat Sunderland 2-0 at home. Aston Villa beat Burnley 2-1, and Brighton got a late equaliser to draw 1-1 at Wolves, who are still searching for their first league win.

In the ITYFL, former champ (ahem) Charles Denton has stretched his lead at the top and must certainly feel happy with his early-season form as he notched an impressive 80 point week, to make him this week’s Highest Scorer. Doing the business were captain Haaland (16) Semenyo (18) Kudus (12) Caceido (10), and Gabriel (9).

In second place, some 45 points adrift but also showing some good early form, is Coach Simz, Simeon Edwards, following his very decent weekly score of 70 points. Thanks to captain Haaland (16) Semenyo (18) Kudus (12) and Saka (8).

Moving up to third is Yours Truly. I had a decent 64 point weekly score, following contributions from captain Haaland (16) Kudus (12) Gabriel (9) Munoz (8), and Enzo (6).

Down to fourth, but just a point behind, is my oldest son, under his alias Tommy Devito, with a decent wildcard weekly score of 63 points, due to Semenyo (18), Rice (11), Gabriel (9), and Haaland (8).

Another who is showing good early form is my OldSkool mate Derick Fredericks, who moved up four places from 9th to 5th, making him this week’s Highest Mover following a very decent 73 point weekly score. With captain Haaland (16) Semenyo (18) Caicedo (10) Grealish (10), and Calafiori (6). This sees Sanjay Beecher, flying the flag for JA & USA, move down to sixth, just a point behind, due to a modest 54 point week and contributions from Semenyo (18) Grealish (10) and Haaland (8).

Also moving down, Owen Barnes is now in seventh, but just a point behind sixth, due to his 58 point weekly score. Due to Semenyo (18) Gabriel (9) Haaland (8), and Raya (6). Tommy Lee moves up into eighth place thanks to his very decent 75 points weekly score, with captain Kudus (24) Timber (11) Gabriel (9) Pope (7) Eze (6) Mbeumo (6) and Gibbs-White (4).

In joint eighth is former champ, my youngest son, Latrell Oscar, following his decent 68 point week. With contributions from captain Haaland (16) Kudus (12) Burn (11) De Ligt (8) Raya (6) Rogers (5). My long-time bredrin Francis Norville stays in the top ten via just three points, thanks to his decent weekly score of 68 points, following captain Haaland (16) Semenyo (18) Grealish (10) Gabriel (9) and Eze (6).

Unfortunately we have come to another international break, so, see y’all on the other side.
