I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON TWELVE

WEEK 10

This week in the Premier League, Chelsea beat a disappointing Spurs 1-0 away. Man City eased past Bournemouth 3-1 at home. Arsenal beat Burnley at home 2-0 to go six points ahead at the top.

West Ham surprised Newcastle with a 3-1 home win. Liverpool got back to winning ways with a 2-0 home win over Aston Villa. Fulham brushed Wolves aside with a 3-0 home win, signalling the end of manager Pereira.

Brighton brushed Leeds aside 3-0 at home. Crystal Palace comfortably beat Brentford 2-0 at home. Man Utd got a late equaliser to draw 2-2 at Forest, and Sunderland drew 1-1 at home to Everton.

In the ITYFL, former champ (ahem) Charles Denton stretched his lead at the top to thirty, thanks to his very decent 71 point weekly score, with contributions from captain Haaland (26) Gabriel (12) Caicedo (10) Mateta (9) Munoz (6), and Timber (6).

Coach Simz, Simeon Edwards remains in second place, following a 71 point week. Due to  captain Haaland (26) Gabriel (12) Guehi (10), and Mateta (9)

This week’s Highest Mover was Owen Barnes, who stormed up four places from 7th to 3rd, just nine points behind, thanks to a superb 111 point weekly score, the highest score this season, which also made him this week’s Highest Scorer by far. Doing the business were captain Haaland (26) Rice (13) Gabriel (12) Caicedo (10) Guehi (10) Salah (10) Xhaka (10), and Joao Pedro (9).

This sees my old football club mate Darren Micheal move down to fourth place, although just holding onto fourth place, due to a decent 73 point week. With captain Haaland (26) Gabriel (12) Ndiaye (9) Cucurella (7), and Munoz (6).

Just six points behind is my oldest son, under his alias Tommy Devito, who also moved down into fifth, despite a decent weekly score of 76 points and contributions from captain Haaland (26) Rice (16) Gabriel (12), and Guehi (10). Up to sixth, just four points behind, is Sanjay Beecher, flying the flag for JA and USA, thanks to a very decent 86 point weekly score. With captain Haaland (26) Guehi (10) Salah (10) Mateta (9) Paqueta (9) O’Reilly (8), and Welbeck (6).

This sees Yours Truly drop to seventh place, five points behind, following my 75 point week. Due to captain Haaland (26) Gabriel (12) Joao Pedro (9) Gyokeres (7) Calafiori (6), and Munoz (6). Down to eighth, but just four points behind is Tommy Lee with a 69 point weekly score and contributions from captain Kudus (2) Rice (13) Gabriel (12) Guehi (10) Joao Pedro (9) Gibbs-White (8), and Timber (6).

My long-time Bredrin Francis Norville also moved down into ninth, but just three points behind. He also had a weekly score of 69 points, with captain Haaland (26) Gabriel (12) Guehi (10), and Chalobah (7). Staying in tenth place is my OldSkool mate Derick Fredericks with a weekly score of 77 points, following captain Haaland (26) Gabriel (12) Caicedo (10) and Guehi (10).

Full steam ahead to week 11, the last week before the final international break of the year. Make it count y’all.
