WEEK 26

This midweek in the Premier League. Newcastle beat Spurs 2-1 away to signal the end of Thomas Frank. Forest drew at home 0-0 with Wolves to surprisingly signal the end of Sean Dyche. Man City strolled past Fulham 3-0 at home.

Sunderland lost 1-0 at home to Liverpool, ending their unbeaten home record. Burnley got a much-needed 3-2 away win at Crystal Palace. Bournemouth also got a much-needed away win as they beat Everton 2-1. Aston Villa kept their faint title challenge alive with a 1-0 home win over Brighton.

Leeds came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Chelsea. Arsenal were pegged back, as they drew 1-1 at Brentford. Then, almost a week later, Wolves put a further dent in Arsenal’s title dreams as they came from two goals down to draw 2-2 in stoppage time.

In the ITYFL, Coach Simz Simeon Edwards maintains a healthy lead at the top following a very decent 74 point weekly score. Due to captain B.Fernandes. Rice (14) Semenyo (14) Joao Pedro (10) Gabriel (7) Guehi (7) Mbeumo (6) Haaland (5) and Van de Ven (3).

My long-time bredrin Francis Norville has signalled his intent as he moves up to second in pursuit of the title. He scored a superb 92 point week. Doing the business were triple captain Gabriel (21) Rice (14) Joao Pedro (10) Martinez (8) Guehi (7) Mbeumo (6) Haaland (5), and Chalobah (3).

This sees my old football club mate Darren Micheal down to third, despite his very decent weekly score of 78 points, with captain Gabriel (14) Rice (14) Semenyo (14) Joao Pedro (10) Guehi (7) Mbeumo (6) Haaland (5), and Raya (3).

Former champ (ahem) Charles Denton is in fourth, still within touching distance due to his decent 76 point weekly score. Following captain Gabriel (14) Rice (14) Semenyo (14) Joao Pedro (10) Guehi (7) Mbeumo (6), and Haaland (5).

Owen Barnes remains in fifth, with a 55 point week. His contributions came from captain Haaland (10) Rice (14) Gabriel (7) Guehi (7) Foden (5), and Timber (3). My oldest son, under his alias Tommy Devito, moves up to joint fifth, following a decent free hit weekly score of 64 points, due to captain Gabriel (14) Rice (14) Semenyo (14) Mbeumo (6) Haaland (5) Chalobah (3), and Raya (3).

Just two points behind in seventh is Tommy Lee, following a decent 66 point weekly score. His main contributions came from captain Bowen (10) Rice (14) Joao Pedro (10) Gabriel (7) Guehi (7) Mbeumo (6) Gibbs-White (3) Summerville (3), and Timber (3). My middle son, Jahsiah Tobierrie, moves up to eighth, following a very decent 82 point week, with captain Madueke (26) Rice (14) Semenyo (14) Gabriel (7) Bowen (5) Haaland (5), and Chalobah (3).

This sees my youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar move down to ninth, due to his modest weekly score of 50 points, with captain Gabriel (14) Palmer (12) Ndiaye (9) Haaland (5) Bruno Guimaraes (3), and Raya (3). Staying in the top ten is two-time champ Jeff Franklin, following his 53 point weekly score, with contributions from captain Rice (28) Mbeumo (6) Haaland (5), and Timber (3).

This week’s Highest Scorer was Hayes & Yeadings Delroy Preddie, who notched a fantastic weekly score of 95 points. Doing the business were captain Haaland (10) Virgil (17) O’Reilly (15) Rice (14) Semenyo (14) Joao Pedro (10) Alisson (7) and Van Hecke (5).

This week’s Highest Mover was my daughter, The OG Nae, who moved up three places from 14th to 11th, and in sight of the top ten, thanks to a very decent 80 point week. With captain Rice (28) Saka (13) Joao Pedro (10) Guehi (7) Haaland (5) Van Hecke (5) Raya (3) and Summerville (3).
