Fantasy Football S12 WEEK 30 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON TWELVE

WEEK 30

This week in the Premier League. Arsenal got two late goals to beat Everton 2-0 at home and virtually put one hand on the Premier League trophy. Because Man City were held at West Ham in a 1-1 draw. Newcastle made it a miserable week for Chelsea with a 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge.

Manchester United strengthened their Champions League hopes with a 3-1 home win against Aston Villa. Brighton boosted their European hopes with a 1-0 away win at Sunderland. Wolves continued their recent good form as they came back from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Brentford.

Tottenham scored a 90th minute goal to draw 1-1 at Liverpool. Notts Forest drew 0-0 at home to Fulham. Leeds drew 0-0 at Crystal Palace, and Burnley drew 0-0 at home to Bournemouth.

In another modest scoring ITFYL week that may or may not benefit the league leader, Coach Simz, Simeon Edwards. Who had a modest 45 point week to keep his nose in front at the top, mainly due to captain B.Fernandes (20) Gabriel (9), and Rice (3). But he could have done with not leaving a combined 21 points on the bench in Bassey (9) Dowman (6), and Dubravka (6).

Making it a real title race, sitting just seven points behind in second and looking to make it an even more memorable season being an Arsenal fan, is my old football club mate, Darren Micheal. He had a weekly score of 49 points, with captain Ekitike (2) B.Fernandes (10) Gabriel (9) Hill (8) Raya (7), and Wilson (3).

Desperately trying to make it a three-horse title race is my long-time bredrin Francis Norville, following a decent weekly score of 51 points and contributions from captain Ekitike (2) B.Fernandes (10) Senesi (10) Gabriel (9) Raya (7) Gibbs-White (3), and Sarr (3).

Former champ (ahem) Charles Denton stays in a Champions League place in fourth, following a 46 point week, with captain Semenyo (4) Szoboszlai (11) Senesi (10) Gabriel (9), and Rice (3).

Tommy Lee stays in fifth place with a modest weekly score of 42 points. Mainly due to captain Bowen (12) Gabriel (9) Thiago (6) Gibbs-White (3), and Rice (3). But could have done without leaving on the bench, Senesi (10). My oldest son, under his alias Tommy Devito, is just five points behind in sixth, despite his modest weekly score of 39 points, with captain Haaland (4) B.Fernandes (10) Gabriel (9) Thiago (6), and Wilson (3).

Staying in seventh place is Owen Barnes with a 44 point week, due to captain Haaland (4) B.Fernandes (10) Gabriel (9) Thiago (6) Garner (4), and Rice (3). In eighth, just nine points behind seventh is my youngest son and former champ, Latrell Oscar. He had a very decent weekly score of 60 points, with captain Haaland (4) Saliba (11) B.Fernandes (10) Gabriel (9) Raya (7) Thiago (6) Ballard (4) Gibbs-White (3), and Wilson (3).

Up to ninth, just two points behind his brother, is my middle son, Jahsiah Tobierrie, with a very decent 68 point week. Thanks to triple captain Thiago (18) B.Fernandes (10) Gabriel (9) Hill (8) Bowen (6) Dubravka (6), and Rice (3). But it would have been better had he not left Rodon (8) on the bench.

This week’s joint Highest Mover is my OldSkool mate Derick Fredericks, who stormed up two places from 12th to 10th, thanks to his excellent 70 point weekly score, which also made him this week’s Highest Scorer. Doing the business were captain B.Fernandes (20) Tuffert (11) Senesi (10) Raya (7) Thiago (6) Stach (5), and Rice (3).

Timothy Stigwood was the second of three joint Highest Movers, as he moved up two places from 17th to 15th, due to a very decent weekly score of 59 points. With captain Sesko (10) Saliba (11) Senesi (10), and Gyokeres (7). But it would have been better if he had not left Rodon (8) and Petrovic (6) on the bench. The third of three joint Highest Movers was Filipino native Jean Ninal, who also moved up two places from 18th to 16th, despite her modest 44 point week, due to captain Haaland (4) B.Fernandes (10) Gabriel (9) Thiago (6) Rice (3), and Wilson (3). But could have done with not leaving on the bench Ricahrds (10) and Esteve (6)

Full steam ahead to week 31, which will start on Friday. Then it will be a two-week Premier League break. Make it count y’all.
