Bio: I will start by saying that, as he is in his mid-20s when the game starts, I would advise pursuing him as soon as possible. What jumped out to me instantly is that although he is right-footed, he is equally as good on the right as he is on the left.
He is not one for the elite teams, but if you are just below, trying to break into the elite teams, he could be a shrewd signing, especially for his versatility.
For a few seasons, he was my asset king and a dream for strikers. Though he liked the ball to his feet to attack opponents to the byline, he would also put in early pinpoint crosses to keep opponents guessing. But would also get his fair share of goals per season.
A highly reliable attacker, who, more often than not, will be the “go-to man” to take the game by the scruff of the neck and create chances for his teammates. He also thrived in a multitude of formations, 4231. 433. 4321 and even 442, again due to his versatility.
Eventually, he became a regular Netherlands international and mainstay in the team until I sold him at 31 for £34m.
