In the Fantasy League, this week’s Highest Scorer and August manager of the month is my middle son Jahsiah T, who stormed up twelve places, the joint sixth highest in history, to top the league with a fantastic 119 point weekly score, just missing out on a place in the all-time top 20. Due to captain Haaland (26) Gibbs-White (13) Mbeumo (11) Ballard (8) Calvert-Lewin (8) Gabriel (8) Isak (8) White (7) Raya (6), and Le Fee (3).

In seventh, making the whole family put me to shame, is my daughter and the combined efforts of her mum, The OG Nae, with a very decent 91 point week. Due to captain Haaland (26) B.Fernandes (23) Calafiori (11) Ndoye (9) Raya (6) Gvardiol (5), and Mainoo (4). This sees Sanjay Beecher, flying the flag for JA & USA, move down to eighth, following his weekly score of 74 points, with contributions from captain Joao Pedro (18) Haaland (13) Calafiori (11) Mbeumo (11) Semenyo (5) Szoboszlai (4), and Ndiaye (4).

Falling to joint ninth, but holding onto a top ten spot is Hayes and Yeading Sporting Director Delroy Preddie, following his 69 point week, due to captain Joao Pedro (18) Haaland (13) Saka (11) Gabriel (8) Szoboszlai (4) Truffert (4) Wirtz (4), and Willock (3).

Full steam ahead to week 3, which starts on Friday. Make it count y’all.
