SEASON THIRTEEN

WEEK 3

In the Premier League, Arsenal came from behind to beat Chelsea 2-1 at home in an exciting London derby. Crystal Palace came from behind to win 3-2 at Fulham. Liverpool scored two early goals at Ipwsich to win 2-0.

Man City sneaked past Coventry 1-0 at home. Everton got a last-second equaliser to draw 2-2 at home to Man Utd. Newcastle came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at home to Bournemouth.

Sunderland scored a late penalty to draw 1-1 at Brentford. Brighton drew 1-1 at home to Leeds. Hull City are yet to concede a goal after drawing 0-0 at home to Aston Villa, who have yet to score. Also, Spurs are yet to score this season after drawing 0-0 at Notts Forest.

In the Fantasy League, my middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie remains the early pacesetter despite his modest 49 point weekly score. His contributions came from captain Haaland (18) Mbeumo (8) Tzolis (5) Ballard (4) Justin (4), and Raya (3).

Staying in second, just two points behind, is Owen Barnes, following his 50 point week. Due to captain Haaland (18) Guehi (8) Rice (5) Diop (3) Ndiaye (3) Raya (3), and Tarkowski (3).

Moving up to third place, just a point behind second and three behind third respectively, is former champ, my youngest son Latrell Oscar, with an excellent weekly score of 73 points, making him this week’s Highest Scorer. Doing the business were triple captain Haaland (27) Isak (13) Le Fee (8) Mbeumo (8) Ballard (4), and Raya (3).

Down into fourth is Coach Simz, Simeon Edwards following his 54 point week. With captain Haaland (18) Le Fee (8) Van Hacke (8) Virgil (6) Raya (6) Szoboszlai (3), and Tarkowski (3).

Also moving down is two-time Jeff Franklin, into fifth. He had a 52 point weekly score, due to captain Haaland (18) Mbeumo (8) Kinsky (6) Ajayi (5) Shaw (4), and Wirtz (3). Yours Truly has moved up to sixth. I had a decent weekly score of 67 points. Thanks to triple captain Haaland (27) Odegaard (10) Mbeumo (8) Semenyo (6) Rice (5), and Shaw (4).

Sanjay Beecher, flying the flag for JA and USA moved up to seventh place following his 58 point week. With triple captain Haaland (27) Guehi (8) Mbeumo (8), and Cherki (3). This week’s Highest Mover was Timothy Stigwood, who moved up seven places from 15th to 8th. Thanks to a decent 66 point weekly score. His contributions came from captain Haaland (18) Isak (13) Van Hacke (8) Kinsky (6) Semenyo (6) Tzolis (5) Konsa (4), and Szoboszlai (3).

This sees my oldest son, under his alias Tommy Devito, down into ninth, due to a weekly score of 53 points, with captain B.Fernandes (4) Janelt (11) Haaland (9) Mbeumo (8) Tzolis (5) Shaw (4) Anderson (3) Diop (3), and Raya (3). Also moving down, but holding onto a top-ten spot by just two points is my recent(ish) old work colleague Abdul Rahman, following his 53 point week and contributions from captain Haaland (18) Guehi (8) N.Williams (7) Rogers (6) Shaw (4), and Xhaka (3).
