Bio: Although a slow starter, Hernandez develops into a top class finisher.
I originally bought him as a back up striker but he soon developed into a player I couldn’t leave out of the team.
In six seasons he finished top scoring for my team twice and the leagues top scorer once. That same season he broke the record for my team for most goals in a season (38).
He also won the Champions League golden boot and was named in the dream team two season in a row. He is good in the air and on the deck and although left footed, is very capable with his right.
He also had just under 100 caps for Uruguay. Due to his determination and running off the ball, he can play up front alone or in a front two or three.
Eventually I sold him to Real Madrid for £18m.
