Bio: This player comes under the “great find” category. Purchased for £10m at age 24 and in each of his six seasons he didn’t score less than 21 goals.

He certainly knows where the goal is and was a threat in the air as well as on the deck. He is capable of playing up on his own, alongside another striker or in a three, no matter what, he’s always good for a goal. He is a determined, explosive and dynamic finisher who can run with the ball but is also excellent without it.

I was really impressed with his movement, ability to create space and lose his marker, he always seemed to be in the right place at the right time.

A Venezuelan international who was capped over 100 times with 60 odd goals. Only thing to beware of is, he has that typical South American fire and is prone to a yellow card and the occasional red. He was supporters player of the year and team top scorer 4 times.
