Bio: Firstly, my advice would be to get him as early as possible before he gets into his stride and Borussia hold out for a big fee, or another team snaps him up.
His best position is left back, but arguably, it could also be left wing back, as he excelled in both positions. He can also do a good job at left midfield, such is his quality.
I was really impressed with his selection, decision and execution of passes. He is an energetic full back/wing back, who, due to his exceptional stamina, will get up and down the left flank all game.
Defensively solid, I rarely saw him get dominated by a winger. But the real plus was his crossing ability; he needed no encouragement to whip a dangerous ball in, even when it looked like he had no space. He is a striker’s dream.
I also loved that he made intelligent overlapping and at times underlapping runs, and his quality allowed him to notch the odd goal. Due to that quality, he also took corners and the odd free kicks and became a reliable and versatile professional.
