WEEK 14

This week in the Premier League, West Ham shocked Chelsea with a 1-0 away win. Leicester came from behind to score a last second VAR winner to beat Everton 2-1 at home. Palace beat Burnley 2-0 away. Liverpool survived a late Alisson sending off to beat Brighton 2-1 at home. Spurs survived a late comeback to beat Bournemouth 3-2 at home. Southampton came from behind to beat Watford 2-1 at home. Newcastle got a late equaliser to draw 2-2 at home to Man City. Arsenal came from behind twice to draw 2-2 at Norwich. Man Utd and Aston Villa drew 2-2 at Old Trafford. Also, Wolves and Sheff Utd drew at Moulinex 1-1.

In the ITYIFL, my oldest mate Delroy Preddie moved up from 4th to 1st to lead the way by just two points, thanks to a very decent 64 point week. This was due to points from captain De Bruyne (20) Alexander-Arnold (10) Grealish (9) Guaita (8) and Jimenez (5).

Lee Barratt remains in second place with a weekly score of 49 points, thanks to contributions from captain Vardy (12) De Bruyne (10) Sterling (7) and Kelly (6). Natalie Stigwood moves down two places to third due to a disappointing free hit weekly score of 41 points. Her only real contributions came from Pukki (8) Sterling (7) and Vardy (6).

Washington DC’s Greg C moves up into a Champions League place with a weekly score of 54 points, thanks to the likes of Alexander-Arnold (10) Ings (9) Sterling (7) Willems (7) Pereira (7) and Vardy (6). Perennial top ten man Danny Milton moves down to fifth with a weekly score of 50 points. This was due to captain Vardy (12) Son (10) De Bruyne (10) and Jimenez (5).

Last season’s runner up Mr James remains in sixth, due to a weekly score of 55 points. This was thanks to captain Vardy (12) Son (10) Alexander-Arnold (10) and Ings (9). Simon Sebhat moves up into seventh, due to a decent 58 point week. This was due to the likes of captain Son (20) Alexander-Arnold (10) Sterling (7) and Pereira (7).

My right hand man Tyrone Brown moves down into eighth place due to a disappointing weekly score of 42 points, with contributions only from captain Vardy (12) Alexander-Arnold (10) and Jimenez (5). November’s manager of the month Nordin Gharib remains in ninth, he also had a disappointing weekly score with 40 points, where he can only thank the likes of captain Vardy (12) Son (10) and Jimenez (5).

Moving up into the top ten is Owen Barnes with a decent weekly score of 64 points, thanks to captain Vardy (12) De Bruyne (10) Alexander-Arnold (10) Pukki (8) Pereira (7) and Kelly (6). This weeks Highest Scorer is my blood brother Wayne Watson, who scored a mammoth 109 points, which puts him 3rd highest in ITYIFL history and is the single highest score this season. This also made him this weeks Highest mover, as he moved up 15 places from 26th to 11th, which is joint second all time and this season. This was in no small part to the psychic decision to triple captain Van Dijk (51) how did you pull that one off bro? Also, Zaha (11) De Bruyne (10) Grealish (9) Ings (9) and Lindelof (8).
