Fantasy Football WEEK 36 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON SIX

WEEK 36

This week in the Premier League, Arsenal somehow beat Liverpool 2-1 at home. Leicester beat Sheff Utd 2-0 at home to enhance their Champions League chances. Man Utd beat Crystal Palace away by the same score to stay in the Champions League hunt. West Ham beat Watford at home 3-1 to virtually preserve their league status. Tottenham beat Newcastle 3-1 away. Man City just about beat Bournemouth 2-1 at home. Burnley got a very late penalty to draw 1-1 at home to Wolves. Everton also left it late to draw 1-1 at home to break Aston Villa hearts and Southampton got a 1-1 draw at home to Brighton.

In the ITYIFL, with two more game weeks to go, perennial top ten man Danny Milton took a huge step towards the title with a very decent, given the circumstances, 54 point game week to leave him 25 points clear at the top of the table. Doing the business were captain Jesus (16) Jimenez (9) Martial (8) and Fernandes (6).

Mr Ever-Present Jeff Franklin remains in second, although losing ground, due to a slightly disappointing weekly score of 37 points. His only real contributions came from captain Fernandes (12) Martial (8) and Ings (7). Lee Barratt remains in third, also with a disappointing weekly score of 32 points, where only Ings (7) Fernandes (6) and Maguire (5) provided any significant points.

Last season’s runner up Mr James remains in a Champions League place, gaining some ground on third following a decent 43 point week, thanks to Jimenez (9) Jesus (8) Fernandes (6) and Wan-Bissaka (5). This weeks Highest Scorer was Washington DC’s Greg C with a very decent 60 point week, which also made him this weeks Highest Mover, as he moved up two places from 7th to 5th. This was thanks to the likes of captain Pulisic (12) Azpilicueta (9) Jesus (8) Martial (8) Ings (7) Antonio (7) and Wan-Bissaka (5).

Natalie Stigwood remains in sixth place, now one ahead in her mini domestic battle due to a decent weekly score of 52 points, thanks to captain Fernandes (12) Rashford (12) Son (8) Vardy (5) and Evans (5). Timothy Stigwood will be disappointed at moving down two places to seventh, due to a 31 point week where his only real contributions came from captain Greenwood (4) Jimenez (9) Vardy (5) and Evans (5).

My oldest mate Delroy Preddie moves up to eighth place, following a weekly score of 40 points. His contributions came mainly from Vardy (10) Jimenez (9) and Mane (8). Halifa S S moves down into ninth due to a disappointing weekly score of 31 points, with contributions mainly from Martial (8) Ings (7) and Wan-Bissaka (5).

Simon Sebhat remains in the top ten following a weekly score of 34 points, this was due to Martial (8) Ings (7) Pulisic (6) and Vardy (5).

Only two more game weeks to go. Due to FA Cup semi final weekend the penultimate game week stretches over the next six days, to be ready for the for the final day of the season next weekend. Make it count ya’ll.
