Fantasy Football S7 WEEK 29 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON SEVEN

WEEK 29

This, in a very depleted week in the Premier League, with just four games. In somewhat of a surprise, Spurs beat Aston Villa away 2-0. Brighton destroyed Newcastle at home 3-0. Leeds beat Fulham 2-1 away and Arsenal came back from three goals down to draw at West Ham 3-3.

In the ITYIFL, with only four games, some teams and very astute managers still seemed to excel and pick up decent points. One such manager was the league leader, perennial top ten man Danny Milton recorded an excellent 75 point weekly score, which could well turn out to be a very significant week in the title race. This was thanks to captain Kane (14) Trossard (14) Lingard (12) Bamford (11) Raphinha (8) Antonio (7) and Dunk (6).

A full 60 points behind in second is Lee Barratt, with a disappointing, given the circumstances weekly score of 32 points. His contributions came from captain Kane (14) Raphinha (8) White (6) and Meslier (3). Desperately trying to make up some ground in third is my Arsenal mate Mr James, with a 42 point week. This was due to captain Kane (14) Bamford (11) and Raphinha (8).

The defending champion Jeff Franklin makes up the Champions League places and after another disappointing week, where he scored just 27 points, he may now have to come to terms with not retaining his title. His contributions were only really from Bamford (11) and Sanchez (6). Former champ ahm Charles Denton is now just eight points off a Champions League place in fifth, following a very decent, free hit 56 point week. This was thanks to captain Kane (14) Lingard (12) Maupay (6) Gross (6) Dunk (6) and Lookman (5).

Not that far behind is my youngest son Latrell Oscar, who made his own significant move, as he recorded a superb, free hit 77 point week, making him this weeks Highest Scorer. This moved him up three places from 9th to 6th, which also made him this weeks Highest Mover. Doing the business was captain Kane (14) Trossard (14) Lacazette (11) Lucas Moura (9) Raphinha (8) Dunk (6) and White (6). Natalie Holder moves down into seventh, following a disappointing 22 point weekly score, where only three players provided points, Kane (14) Antonio (7) and Martinez (1).

Natalie Stigwood remains in eighth, following a 25 point point week. Where she also had just three players provide points.Vice captain Bamford (22) Struijk (2) and Areola (1). Owen Barnes moves down into ninth, due to a disappointing 19 point weekly score. With again, just three players contributing points. Bamford (11) Kane (7) and Martinez (1).

On the same points as ninth place, but in tenth for the purpose of this, is my middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie, thanks to a 28 point weekly score. Where his main contributors came only from captain Kane (14) and Bamford (11).

I deliberately waited until what felt like a long international break to pass to do this update, just so I can say full steam ahead to week 30. We are now officially on the final stretch. Make it count y’all.
