I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON EIGHT 

WEEK 6

This week in the Premier League, the champions Man City laid down a real marker as they beat Chelsea 1-0 away. It seems North London is red as Arsenal brushed Tottenham aside at home 3-1. Aston Villa got a late winner and was helped by a late penalty miss to shock Man Utd 1-0 away. West Ham got a late winner to beat Leeds away 2-1. Wolves beat Southampton away 1-0. Everton beat Norwich 2-0 at home. Brentford drew 3-3 at home to Liverpool in a thriller. Leicester came back twice to draw at home to Burnley 2-2. Brighton got literally a last second goal to draw 1-1 at Crystal Palace in their derby and Newcastle drew at Watford 1-1.

In the ITYIFL, the defending champion Danny Milton ominously stretched his lead at the top to a decent 29 points, due to a very impressive 60 point weekly score. This was thanks to the likes of captain Ronaldo (4) Sarr (9) Antonio (8) Jimenez (8) Salah (7) Jota (7) Coady (6) and Semedo (6).

Washington DC’s Greg Cabana now assumes the position of the principle chaser, as he moves up to second, causing a whole host of managers to move down. This was thanks to a very decent 65 point week, making him this weeks Highest Scorer. Doing the business were captain Salah (14) Saka (13) Antonio (8) Zaha (8) Tielemans (7) Digne (5) and Dias (5). Sanjay Beecher moves down one to third, following a somewhat disappointing weekly score of 34 points. His only real contributions came from captain Ronaldo (4) Sarr (9) and Salah (7).

My youngest son Latrell Oscar moves down one, but still in a Champions League place following a decent 48 point bench boost week. This was due to captain Salah (14) Antonio (8) Son (7) and off the bench Foster (3) and B.Silva (3). Jeff Franklin also moves down one into fifth, following a 45 point weekly score. This was due to Jimenez (8) Salah (7) Gray (6) and Marcel (6).

Also moving down, to sixth, is Natalie Stigwood, following a decent 46 point weekly score. Her contributions came from the likes of captain Ronaldo (4) Saint-Maximin (8) Antonio (8) Jota (7) Pinnock (7) and Dias (5). Continuing the theme, ahm Charles Denton also moves down one into seventh, with a 44 point week. Which was mainly due to captain Salah (14) Antonio (8) Gray (6) and Dias (5).

Nordin Gharib moves up one into eighth place, with a decent weekly score of 56 points. Thanks to the likes of captain Salah (14) Sarr (9) Antonio (8) Saint-Maximin (8) and Jota (7). This sees my old work mate Mr James move down into ninth, with a 45 point week. This was due to captain Ronaldo (4) Sarr (9) Salah (7) Gray (6) and Semedo (6).

Moving up for a rare foray into the top ten is my right hand man Tyrone Brown, thanks to his decent 52 point weekly score. His contributions came from captain Pogba (4) Maupay (9) Martinez (9) Saint-Maximin (8) Salah (7) Pinnock (7) and Laporte (5). This weeks Highest Mover was my coaching partner Francis Norville, who moved up eight places from 21st to 13th, thanks to a very decent 61 point week. Doing the business were captain Salah (14) Concelo (12) Sarr (9) Zaha (8) Toney (5) Digne (5).
