I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON EIGHT 

WEEK 8

This week in the Premier League, Leicester beat Man Utd 4-2 at home in a superb game. Liverpool smashed Watford away 5-0. Wolves came from two goals down to beat Villa 3-2 away. Spurs spoiled Newcastle’s new owners first game, by coming from behind to win 3-2 at St James’ Park. West Ham got a late winner to beat Everton away 1-0. Man City beat Burnley at home 2-0. Chelsea somehow beat Brentford away 1-0. Southampton beat Leeds at home by the same score. Arsenal got literally a last second equaliser to snatch a win away from ex player Viera to draw 2-2 at the Emirates with Palace. Also Norwich drew at home with Brighton 0-0.

In the ITYIFL, defending champion Danny Milton maintains his strangle hold on the league, and has even strengthened his grip with a superb 67 point weekly score, which stretches his lead at the top to 41 points. Doing the business were captain Salah (26) Chilwell (15) Coady (7) Sanchez (6) Duffy (5).

Washington DC’s Greg Cabana has moved up into joint second, thanks to a decent weekly score of 59 points. This was due to captain Salah (26) Tielemans (10) Alexander-Arnold (6) Cash (6) and Sanchez (6). On the same points in joint second, but third for the benefit of this, is another American, Sanjay Beecher with a decent weekly score of 56 points. His contributions were mainly from captain Salah (26) Alexander-Arnold (6) Sanchez (6) and Duffy (5).

Remaining in the Champions League places is former champ Jeff Franklin, thanks to a 56 point week. This was due to captain Salah (26) Greenwood (7) Livramento (6) and Sanchez (6). My youngest son, another former champ Latrell Oscar remains in fifth place, following his decent 59 point weekly score. Thanks to captain Salah (26) Son (9) Foden (6) and Livramento (6).

Making it a hat-trick of former champs, ahem, Charles Denton remains in sixth place, due to a 52 point weekly score. His contributions came from captain Salah (26) Sanchez (6) Duffy (5) and Fernandes (5). Making positive strides, moving up into seventh place is my blood brother Wayne Watson, with a decent 54 point week. This was thanks to captain Mane (16) Son (9) Dunk (9) and Van Dijk (6).

This sees Lord Ramdhan move down into eighth place, following a weekly score of 48 points. His contributions came from captain Smith Rowe (4) Salah (13) Vardy (8) Sanchez (6) and Duffy (5). This weeks joint Highest Mover was my oldest mate, Hayes & Yeading coach Delroy Preddie, who moved up five places from 14th to 9th, thanks to a very decent 62 point week. This was due to the likes of captain Ings (14) Salah (13) Chilwell (15) Alexander-Arnold (6) and Iheanacho (5).

This weeks other joint Highest Mover, sneaking up into the top ten after moving up five places from 15th is Owen Barnes. This was due to his decent 60 point weekly score, thanks to captain Salah (26) Son (9) Coady (7) and Cresswell (7). This weeks Highest Scorer was my oldest nephew Tyrell Miles-Brown, with a very decent 68 point weekly score. Doing the business was mainly, triple captain Salah (39) also Vardy (8) Livramento (6) and Fernandes (5).

Season is now in full swing, full steam ahead to week 9, make it count y’all.
