Fantasy Football S8 WEEK 14 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON EIGHT

WEEK 14

This midweek in the Premier League, Man Utd came from a goal down to beat Arsenal 3-2 at Old Trafford, ending Michael Carrick’s reign on a high. Liverpool continued their impressive scoring form to beat Everton 4-1 away in the derby. Man City got a hard fought 2-1 away win at Aston Villa. Chelsea also got a hard fought 2-1 away win at Watford. Leeds beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at home. Tottenham beat Brentford 2-0 at home to maintain Conte’s unbeaten start. Southampton drew at home with Leicester 2-2. Brighton got a late equaliser to draw 1-1 at West Ham. 10-man Newcastle got a 1-1 home draw with Norwich, also Wolves and Burnley played out a 0-0 draw at Molineux.

In the ITYIFL, as per usual, defending champion Danny Milton remains the leader of the pack. But he might start to sit just a little bit uneasy, despite a decent 65 point weekly score, thanks to the likes of captain Son (16) Salah (15) Mount (12) and Raphinha (8).

Former champ, my youngest son Latrell Oscar is really starting to mean business as he further closes the gap at the top to just 36 points, thanks to a very decent 74 point week. Doing the business were captain Salah (30) Dennis (9) Jota (8) Son (8) and Raphinha (8). Sanjay Beecher remains in third, following his weekly score of 56 points. This was mainly due to captain Salah (30) Son (8) and Coady (6).

Washington DC’s Greg Cabana closes the gap on his compatriot in third to just four points, thanks to a decent 68 point weekly score. This was due to captain Salah (30) Wilson (9) Dias (9) and Jota (8). Another former champ Jeff Franklin remains in fifth, due to his very decent weekly score of 71 points. This was thanks to contributions from captain Salah (30) Ronaldo (13) Raphinha (8) and Smith Rowe (7).

My coaching partner Francis Norville cements his position in sixth, thanks to his decent wildcard weekly score of 67 points. This was due to the likes of captain Salah (30) Dennis (9) Jota (8) and Smith Rowe (7). The first bit of movement in the top ten sees Owen Barnes move up to seventh, thanks to a very decent 75 point week. His contributions came from captain Salah (30) Bernardo (10) Dias (9) Smith Rowe (7) and Coady (6).

This week’s Highest Mover was my former work colleague Mr James, who moved up five places from 13th to 8th, thanks to an excellent 85 point weekly score, which also made him this week’s Highest scorer. Doing the business were captain Salah (30) Dennis (9) Bernardo (10) Jota (8) Raphinha (8) and Pukki (8). Also moving up, into ninth is Nordin Gharib due to a decent 66 point week. Thanks to the likes of captain Salah (30) Wilson (9) Son (8) and Smith Rowe (7).

Just clinging onto the top ten is my right-hand man Tyrone Brown following a somewhat disappointing 49 point week. His contributions were mainly from Salah (15) Bernardo (10) and Raphinha (8).

It’s a quick turnaround to the weekend games so make it count y’all.
