Fantasy Football S8 WEEK 18 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON EIGHT

WEEK 18

This, in a very depleted week with only four games played, Man City brushed Newcastle aside 4-0 away. Arsenal brushed Leeds aside away 4-1. Liverpool drew at Tottenham 2-2 in probably the game of the season so far. Also, Wolves got an unlikely 0-0 draw at Chelsea.

In the ITYIFL, despite the limited games, some manages still had very good weeks’ including the defending champion Danny Milton who will top the league for Christmas. However, in the seven seasons of the ITYIFL, only twice has the Christmas no1 gone on to win the league, make of that what you will. Nevertheless, he scored a very decent 62 point week, thanks to vice-captain Lacazette (10) Cancelo (18) Saka (7) Jota (7) & Alexander-Arnold (7).

With that said, hot on his heels and looking to make a real title fight of if going into the second half of the season. My youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar scored a superb weekly score of 68 points. Doing the business were captain Martinelli (30) Raphinha (7) Son (7) Alexander-Arnold (7) James (6) and Rudiger (5). Washington DC’s Greg Cabana remains in third, following a decent 44 point weekly score, this was due to captain Salah (4) Dias (12) Alexander-Arnold (7) Jota (7) James (6) and Smith Rowe (6).

Moving up into the Champions League places, to continue his recent good form is another former champ Jeff Franklin. This was thanks to a very decent 59 point week, with contributions from captain Salah (4) Cancelo (18) Alexander-Arnold (7) James (6) Tomiyasu (6) Smith Rowe (6) and Lacazette (5). This sees Sanjay Beecher move down to fifth following a modest 39 point weekly score. This was due to captain Salah (4) Saka (7) Alexander-Arnold (7) Son (7) and Tomiyasu (6).

My coaching partner Francis Norville remains in sixth, following a 46 point week, due to contributions from captain Salah (4) Cancelo (18) Alexander-Arnold (7) Jota (7) and Smith Rowe (6). Not that far behind, continuing her very good December is Natalie Holder in seventh, thanks to a very decent weekly score of 54 points. This was due to captain Mount (6) Cancelo (18) Thiago Silva (8) Alexander-Arnold (7) Smith Rowe (6) and Rudiger (5).

Owen Barnes remains in eighth, following his very decent 58 point weekly score, thanks to captain Salah (4) Cancelo (18) Coady (7) Alexander-Arnold (7) James (6) Smith Rowe (6) and Mendy (6). My old work colleague Mr James remains in ninth with a decent 55 point week, this was mainly due to captain Salah (4) Cancelo (18) Alexander-Arnold (7) James (6) and Smith Rowe (6).

Sneaking back into the top ten for Christmas is Lord Ramdham, thanks to a free hit 45 point weekly score. His contributions came from captain Smith Rowe (12) Alexander-Arnold (7) Tomiyasu (6) Rudiger (5) and Jesus (5). This week’s Highest Scorer was my middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie with an excellent, free hit 70 point week. Doing the business were captain Salah (4) Cancelo (18) Robertson (9) Alexander-Arnold (7) James (6) Smith Rowe (6) Ederson (6) and Lacazette (5).

This week’s Highest Mover was Natalie Stigwood, who moved up four places from 19th to 15th, thanks to a very decent weekly score of 61 points. This was due to contributions from captain Jota (14) Cancelo (18 Dias (12) James (6) and Smith Rowe (6).

Full steam ahead to hopefully a full boxing day program of fixtures, fingers crossed, make it count y’all.
