I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON TEN

WEEK 3

This week in the Premier League. Liverpool went a goal down and a man down after 30 minutes at Newcastle, only to score two late goals to win 2-1. Man Utd came from two early goals down at home to Notts Forest to win 3-2. West Ham got an impressive 3-1 win at Brighton. Spurs also impressed as they beat Bournemouth 2-0 away. Man City needed a late goal to beat Sheff Utd away 2-1.

Wolves got a late 1-0 win at Everton to leave the Merseysiders rock bottom. Chelsea cruised past Luton 3-0 at home. Aston Villa beat Burnley 3-1 away. 10-man Fulham got a late goal to draw 2-2 at Arsenal. And Palace got a late goal to draw 1-1 at Brentford.

In the ITYFL, flying the flag for JA and USA. Sanjay Beecher remains on top, but his lead’s been cut from last week. He had a credible 48 point week, thanks to captain Haaland (8) Cash (17) Salah (5) Watkins (5) and Foden (4).

Moving up to second, and this week’s joint Highest Scorer is Yours Truly. Thanks to my very decent 61 point week. Doing the business was captain Haaland (8) Sterling (19) Rodrigo (10) Saka (8), and Chilwell (6).

Nordin Gharib remains in third, following his decent 48 point weekly score. Due to captain Haaland (8) B.Fernandes (12) Saka (8) Chilwell (8), and Pedro Porro (8).

Moving down to fourth is my oldest nephew Tyrell Miles-Brown, following a weekly score of 46 points. His contributions came from the likes of Saka (8) Rashford (7) Chilwell (6) Ward-Prose (6) Areola (5) Nketiah (5), and Haaland (4).

Owen Barnes moved up to fifth, following his very decent weekly score of 56 points. Thanks to captain Haaland (8) B.Fernandes (12) Darwin (11) Saka (8) and Leno (5). This sees former champ ahem Charles Denton down to sixth, due to his 40 point week. With contributions from captain Haaland (8) Saka (8) Rashford (7), and Disasi (6).

The defending two-time champ Jeff Franklin moved down to seventh. He had a weekly score of 46 points, due to captain Haaland (8) Maddison (10) Saka (8) Rashford (7) and Chilwell (6). My happy Spurs mate Keith Wilson moves up to eighth, due to his 46 point week. Thanks to captain Haaland (8) Gross (10) Saka (8) Chilwell (6), and Leno (5).

This sees Washington DC’s Greg Cabana moved down to ninth following his weekly score of 41 points. His main contributions came from captain Haaland (8) Saka (8) Vicario (7), and Salah (5). This week’s Highest Mover was two-time champ Danny Milton. He moved up six places from 16th to 10th, due to a very decent wildcard weekly score of 56 points. Thanks to captain Chilwell (12) Gusto (14) Saka (8) Jackson (7) Foden (4), and Haaland (4). But will be upset at leaving a combined 22 points on the bench with Maddison and Udogie.

This week’s other joint Highest Scorer was Simon Sebhat, due to his very decent 61 point week. Doing the business was captain Saka (16) Cash (17) Rashford (7) Salah (5) Watkins (5), and Haaland (4).
