Fantasy Football S10 WEEK 17 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON TEN

WEEK 17

This week in the Premier League, Spurs beat Notts Forest 2-0 away, which proved to be the last straw as it cost Steve Cooper his job. Arsenal beat Brighton 2-0 at home to move back to the top. West Ham strolled past Wolves 3-0 at home.

Newcastle beat 10-man Fulham 3-0 at home. Villa continued their good form, coming from a goal down to score two late goals and win 2-1 at Brentford. Chelsea beat Sheff Utd 2-0 at home. Everton continued their recent good run to beat Burnley 2-0 away.

Palace came from two goals down, to unexpectedly draw 2-2 at Man City. In a disappointing game at Anfield, Liverpool unexpectedly drew 0-0 with Man Utd. Lastly, the match with Luton and Bournemouth was abandoned in the second half at 1-1 after Tom Lockyer collapsed for a second time in six months. We all wish him well.

In the ITYFL, despite having a very modest week, Owen Barnes maintains his 40+ lead at the top following his weekly score of 35 points, mainly due to captain Salah (6) Porro (8) and Saliba (7).

My oldest son, under his alias Tommy Devito, moves back into second place thanks to his 41 point week. Following captain Saka (6) Watkins (9) Bowen (8) Gabriel (6), and Gordon (6).

Hot on his heels in third is my middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie due to his weekly score of 40 points, with contributions from Watkins (9) Tsimikas (7) Saliba (7) and Vicario (6). My blood brother, Wayne Watson, is just a point behind in fourth, following his modest 33 point week. Due to Saliba (7) Alisson (6) and Konate (6).

My coaching partner Francis Norville moves down to fifth place due to his very modest 31 point weekly score, following Watkins (9) Saliba (7) and Gordon (6). Former champ ahem Charles Denton stays in sixth, just five points behind following his weekly score of 45 points, thanks to captain Sterling (12) Jesus (9) Saliba (7) Gordon (6) and Solanke (6).

Ominously moving up to seventh is former champ, champ Danny Milton, thanks to his decent 55 point week. Doing the business was captain Son (4) Palmer (14) Bowen (8) Porro (8) Tsimikas (7) Solanke (6), and Udogie (5).

This sees Sanjay Beecher move down to eighth but just a point behind, following his 43 point weekly score, with contributions from captain Salah (6) Watkins (9) Romero (7) Pickford (6) and Solanke (6). My Spurs mate Keith Wilson remains in ninth, with a weekly score of 40 points due to Almiron (9) Watkins (9) Bowen (8) and Solanke (6).

A trio of managers are just three points behind in joint tenth. First, my oldest nephew Tyrell Miles-Brown with his decent 52 point week due to captain Watkins (18) Alexander-Arnold (9) Lascelles (6) and Solanke (6).

Secondly, Timothy Stigwood scored a decent 54 point weekly score, with contributions from captain Alvarez (4) Watkins (9) Porro (8) Tsimikas (7) and Gordon. Lastly, my youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar scored a superb 71 point weekly score. Thanks to captain Sterling (12) Palmer (14) Watkins (9) Bowen (8) Dubravka (7) Gabriel (6), and Lascelles (6).

This week’s Highest Scorer is the defending double champ Jeff Franklin, thanks to his excellent 78 point week, which moved him up technically six places from 17th to 11th (although 13th on the table), either way, it made him this week’s Highest Mover. Doing the business was captain Salah (6) Onana (10) Palmer (14) Watkins (9) Bowen (8) Zinchenko (8) Tsimikas (7) Solanke (6), and Udogie (5).

Full steam ahead to week 18. We are now entering the busy Christmas period. Make it count y’all.
