Apologies for missing game week 37. However, on the final day of the season. Tottenham and Leicester treated us to a thrilling nine goal extravaganza where Spurs won 5-4. Liverpool destroy Brighton 4-0. Newcastle destroyed Chelsea 3-0. West Ham beat Everton 3-1. Palace beat WBA 2-0. Arsenal got their first away win of 2018 with a 1-0 win at Huddersfield. Bournemouth beat Burnley away 2-1. As did Stoke at Swansea. Man City got a last-minute win at Southampton 1-0 and Man Utd beat Watford 1-0.
In the ITYIFL. Joe Hilditch becomes the fourth fantasy league champion and will have his name up in lights, bound in history forever. To be fair, it had been a stroll and not in doubt for a very long time. The challenge now is, can he be the first to retain the title? He finished with a final day week total of 62 points, thanks to captain Salah (22). Vardy (13). Aubameyang (8) and Lascelles (6).
In second, a massive 119 points behind. Taking the best of the rest title was Grec C. His final week total of 62, was due to captain Salah. Vardy. Kane (12) and Hennessey (6). In third place, 31 point behind second was Mr Paul Jarvis. His final week score was 71. With contributions from captain Salah. Vardy. Kane. and a bench boost Hennessey.
Completing the Champions League places a mere 11 points off third is Kool FM’s Pressure X. He finished with a final week total of 70, thanks to the likes of captain Kane (24). Salah (11). Zaha (10) Lascelles and Yedlin (6). Moving up into fifth and this weeks highest scorer with a superb 83 points is my right hand man Tyrone Brown. Doing the business were captain Salah. Vardy. Perez (13). Jesus (5). Arnautovic (12). De Bruyne (6) and Lascelles.
Finishing in sixth was last years runner-up Emmanuel Ogana. A final week total of 65 was due to captain Sterling (6). Vardy. Jesus. Mahrez (13) Robertson (18) and Hennessey. Yours Truly finished in eighth place. I finished with a weekly total of 63 with contributions from captain Kane. Jesus. Salah. Adrian (4) and a bench boosted King (6). Natalie Stigwood finished in ninth place. Her final week total of 55, was mainly due to points from captain Salah. Vardy and De Bruyne.
Moving up from 11th, just making it into the final top ten, is Lee Barratt. Who can thank the likes of captain Salah. Rashford (8). De Bruyne. Van Dijk (6) and Fabianski for a final week total of 61 points. Sorry folks. Unfortunately, no highest mover this week, due to missing the penultimate week scores.
