I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON FIVE
WEEK 10
This week in the Premier League. On a Wembley pitch that can only be described as atrocious. Man City defeated Spurs 1-0. Chelsea destroyed Burnley away 4-0. Bournemouth was impressed in their 3-0 away win at Fulham. Liverpool eased past Cardiff at home 4-1. Watford strolled past Huddersfield 3-0 at home. Brighton sneaked past Wolves 1-0 at home. As did Man Utd over Everton 2-1 at home. Palace scored a lat equaliser to draw 2-2 with Arsenal. Leicester snatched a late 1-1 against 10 man West Ham and Newcastle and Southampton played out a dull 0-0 draw.
In the ITYIFL. We have a new league leader. After weeks of clawing his way at the top, my Arsenal mate Mr James stormed his way to the top of the table with an impressive weekly score of 76. This was thanks to the likes of captain Salah (30) Wilson (13) Martial (9) Sigurdsson (8) and Mendy (6).
Down into second place comes Halifa S S with given the circumstances a disappointing weekly score of 41. Where the main contributors only came from captain Martial (18) and Laporte (6). Newcomer Simon Sebhat remains in third place thanks to a decent weekly score of 61. Due to captain Mane (30) Kante (6) Walker (6) and Ederson (8).
Yours Truly remains in the Champions League places, thanks to a decent weekly score of 72 points. I can thank the likes of captain Salah (30) Pereyra (11) Richarlison (5) and Alonso (11). Up into fifth with a superb weekly score of 86 is ahm Charlie Brown. Doing the business was captain Salah (30) Wilson (13) Fraser (11) Capoue (6) Richarlison (5) Laporte (6) and Ederson (8).
Also up into sixth place is my Spurs mate Keith Wilson. Due to a weekly score of 67 points. Thanks to contributions from Wilson (13) Fraser (11) Pereyra (11) Alonso (11) Cathcart (6) and S.Cook (5). Storming into seventh place from 14th, making him this weeks Highest Mover thanks to a tremendous weekly score of 93 points. Which also makes him this weeks Highest Scorer, clocking the highest weekly total of the season so far, was last season’s runner-up Greg C. Doing the business was captain Salah (30) Mane (15) Milivojevic (15) Walker (6) Daniels (6) Dunk (5) and Foster (9).
Maintaining his eighth place is my oldest son Romario Martin, with a weekly score of 51 points. Thanks to contributions from Mane (15) Alonso (11) and Ederson (8). Up into ninth place, for his first forge into the top ten comes Owen Barnes, due to a weekly score of 63 points. Thanks to triple vice captain Ederson (24) Pereyra (11) Willian (7) Richarlison (5) and Bertrand (6).
Down into tenth and holding onto his top ten position by just five points, is another newcomer Sanjay Beecher, with a very disappointing weekly total of 37 points. Where his only real contributions came from Sigurdsson (8) Sterling (6) and Capoue (6).
The league is starting to take shape. Roll on week 11 ya’ll.
