I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON TEN

WEEK 21

In this staggered winter break week in the Premier League, Liverpool brushed in form Bournemouth aside 4-0 away. Man City came from a goal down to beat Newcastle 3-2 away. Arsenal crushed Crystal Palace 5-0 at home. 

Brentford beat Notts Forest 3-2 at home in a thrilling game. Chelsea beat Fulham 1-0 at home in the West London derby. Spurs came back twice to draw 2-2 at Man Utd. Sheff Utd got a last-minute penalty to draw 2-2 at home to West Ham. 

Luton got a controversial last-minute goal to draw 1-1 at Burnley. Aston Villa drew 0-0 at Everton, and Wolves drew 0-0 at Brighton. 

In the ITYFL, Owen Barnes remains in pole position and has stretched his lead at the top due to his decent 57 point wildcard weekly score. Thanks to De Bruyne (12) Palmer (10) A.Becker (6) Porro (6) Saliba (6) and Van Dijk (6). 

My coaching partner Francis Norville stays in second following his 48 point wildcard week, with contributions from captain Palmer (20) Porro (6) and Saliba (6). Flying the flag for JA & USA, Sanjay Beecher storms up into third thanks to his very decent weekly score of 66 points. Due to captain Palmer (20) Pickford (9) Estupinan (8) Richarlison (8) Konsa (6), and Porro (6). 

Moving up to fourth is my middle son Jahsiah Tobierre, following a 50 point wildcard week, due to Palmer (10) Estupinan (8) A.Becker (6) Porro (6) and Saliba (6). Moving down to fifth, just a point behind in a mini domestic battle is my oldest son under his alias, Tommy Devito. His contributions came from De Bruyne (12) Gordon (7), and Saliba (6). 

Former champ, champ Danny Milton moves up to sixth, thanks to his very decent 71 point wildcard weekly score. Following captain Palmer (20) Jota (19) Estupinan (8) Pedro (6), and Doughty (5). Former champ ahem Charles Denton moves up to seventh, due to his 60 point wildcard week. Thanks mainly to Gabriel (17) Palmer (10) A.Becker (6) Porro (6), and Van Dijk (6). 

This sees my blood brother Wayne Watson move down to eighth with a disappointing weekly score of 32 points. His only contributions came from vice-captain Saka (6) A.Becker (6) Konate (6), and Saliba (6). The defending double champ Jeff Franklin moves up to ninth, thanks to his 74 point weekly score due to captain Palmer (20) Gabriel (17) Martinelli (14) Colwill (7) and Zinchenko (6). 

My oldest nephew Tyrell Miles-Brown moves into the top ten due to his 59 point wildcard week. His contributions came from vice-captain De Bruyne (24) Gabriel (17), and Estupinan (8).

This week’s Highest Scorer is my youngest son and former champ, Latrell Oscar, thanks to his superb 80 point week. This moved him up five places from 16th to 11th, making him this week’s Highest Mover. Doing the business were captain Saka (6) Gabriel (17) De Bruyne (12) Palmer (10) Estupinan (8) Raya (8) Sterling (6) Walker (6), and Gusto (5). 

Full steam ahead to week 22, which will be in midweek due to the FA Cup weekend. Make it count y’all.
