I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON FIVE
WEEK 24
This week in the Premier League. Newcastle shocked Man City to beat them 2-1 at home. Bournemouth shocked Chelsea by destroying them 4-0 at home. Wolves brushed aside West Ham 3-0 at home. Brighton beat Fulham 4-2 at home. Spurs left it late to come from behind to beat Watford 2-1. Arsenal beat Cardiff by the same score. Everton beat Huddersfield 1-0 away. Man Utd came from two goals down to draw at home with Burnley 2-2. Liverpool were pegged back by Leicester to draw at home 1-1. Southampton and Palace also played out a 1-1 draw.
In the ITYFL. Despite a modest points week. My Arsenal mate Mr James extended his lead at the top to 38 points due to a weekly score of 41. This was thanks to contributions from Llorente (12). Son (9) and Pogba (7).
Losing ground slightly in second, due to a weekly score of 35 points was Halifa S S. Whose points were mainly due to Richarlison (8) Jota (6) and Bennett (5). Making up a little ground in third is ahm Charles Denton. Due to a weekly score of 43 points, thanks to the likes of Brooks (12) Aguero (9) and Bennett (5).
Making up the Champions League places is newcomer Simon Sebhat with a weekly score of 39 points. Due to contributions from Aubameyang (12) Pogba (7) and Chilwell (7). Staying in fifth is Tommy Warner, thanks to a 42 point week. This was due to the likes of Aubameyang (12) Pogba (7) and Doherty (6).
Moving up four places into sixth, with a massive weekly score of 63 points, making him this weeks Highest Scorer and Joint Highest Mover is Timothy Stigwood. Doing the business was Aubameyang (12) Saiss (12) Lindelof (10) Pickford (8) and Doherty (6). Also moving up into seventh with a very decent weekly score of 57 points is last season’s runner up Greg C. This was thanks to captain Aguero (18) Mitrovic (13) Jimenez (12) and Daniels (7).
Down into eighth place is (I call him Bryan Robson) Ibrahim Gullu, with a weekly score of 46. With contributions from captain Aguero (18) Brooks (12) and Townsend (5). Also down into ninth is Lee Barratt with a weekly score of 32 points. With only Pogba (7) Kolasicac (5) and Bennett (5) providing any significant contributions.
Down, but making up the top ten is Kool FM’s Pressure X with a weekly score 44 points. This was due to points from Aubameyang (12) Pogba (7) and Doherty (6). This weeks other joint Highest Mover is my youngest son and former ITYFL champion Latrell Miles. Whose massive 60 point week moved him up four places from 19th to 15th. Thanks to the likes of Mitrovic (13) Aubameyang (12) Moutinho (11) Doherty (6) and Kolasinac (5).
This weeks third joint Highest Mover is my long time friend Francis Norville. Whose wildcard week produced a superb 54 points, to move him up four places from 20th to 16th. Due to contributions from Moutinho (11) Aguero (9) Lacazette (7) Pogba (7) Steve Cook (6) and Kolasinac (5).
