Fantasy Football WEEK 1 Round Up

SEASON SIX

WEEK 1

In the opening week of the new Premier League season. Man City destroyed West Ham 5-0 away. Man Utd destroyed Chelsea and new boss Lampard 4-0 at home. Liverpool score all their goals in the first half to beat Norwich 4-1 at home. Brighton produced the performance of the weekend to beat Watford 3-0 away. Burnley beat Southampton at home by the same score. Spurs came from behind to beat Villa 3-1 at home. Sheff Utd got a late equaliser to draw 1-1 at Bournemouth. Wolves had a harsh VAR goal ruled out as they drew 0-0 at Leicester. Also Palace and Everton played out a 0-0. 

In the sixth season of the ITYIFL. Lee Barratt storms into an early 10 point lead, laying down a huge marker as the Highest Scorer with 102 points. Which is the joint 7th highest score in ITYIFL history. Doing the business were captain Sterling (40) Rashford (13) Van Dijk (8) Wan Bissaka (8) De Bruyne (7) Chilwell (6) Patricio (6) And Aguero (5). 

Last season’s 9th in his debut season Simon Sebhat is second with a very decent 92 point week. He can thank the likes of captain Kane (26) Sterling (20) De Gea (10) Wan Bissaka (8) Martial (7) Kelly (6) Digne (6) and Alexander-Arnold (5). My Spurs mate Keith Wilson is in third with decent 85 points. This was due to contributions from captain Kane (26) Sterling (20) Ndombele (8) Wan Bissaka (8) and Wilson (5). 

Making up the Champions League places in this opening week is Natalie Holder with a decent 84 point week. This was thanks to captain Kane (26) Sterling (20) Dunk (11) Van Dijk (8) and Ederson (7). In fifth comes my right hand man Tyrone Brown. Who’ll want to prove last season’s 26th place finish was a one off. His 83 points came from captain Kane (26) Sterling (20) Ryan (9) Aubameyang (6) Digne (6) and Alexander-Arnold (5). 

In joint fifth, but sixth for the purpose of this, also with 83 points, is Mr ever present Jeff Franklin. Who can thank the likes of captain Salah (24) Kane (13) Ryan (9) Wan-Bissaka (8) De Bruyne (7) Digne (6) and Zinchenko (6). Washington DC’s Greg C is in seventh with a weekly score of 81 points. This is thanks to contributions from captain Salah (26) Sterling (20) Ryan (9) Wan-Bissaka (8) Wilson (5) and Alexander-Arnold (5). 

Also with a 81 point week and in joint seventh, but eighth for the purpose of this, is Kool FM’s Pressure X. This was due to captain Salah (24) Rashford (13) Van-Dijk (8) Wan-Bissaka (8) Ederson (7) Maguire (6) and Aubameyang (6). In ninth is Filipino native Lyn Bautista with a very respectable 80 point week. Doing the business were captain Salah (24) Sterling (20) Kane (13) Digne (6) Patricio (6) and Wilson (5). 

In joint 9th also with 80 points but making up the top ten is last seasons 3rd place Halifa S S. Whose points mainly came from captan Salah (24) Kane (13) Wan-Bissaka (8) Martial (7) McGinn (7) Ederson (7) and Zinchenko (6). 

The Premier League is back!!!!! One down, 37 enthralling game weeks to go. See you in week two ya’ll.
