WEEK 18

This week in the Premier League, Man City beat Leicester 3-1 at home, Chelsea beat Spurs 2-0 away, bottom club Watford shocked Man Utd 2-0 at home, Sheff Utd was impressive again beating Brighton 1-0 away, Burnley beat Bournemouth away by the same score. Wolves come from behind to beat Norwich 2-1 away, Southampton beat Aston Villa 3-1 away, Newcastle beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at home with Almiron finally breaking his duck, also, Arsenal drew away at Everton 0-0 in one of the worst games of the season.

In a relatively low scoring ITYIFL, Natalie Stigwood will be the Christmas number one, she is sitting pretty at the top of the league while maintaining her 21 point lead. This is despite a low weekly score of 39 points, where her only real contributors came from captain Rashford (4) Vardy (9) Lundstram (6) Baldock (6) and Sterling (5).

My oldest mate Delroy Preddie remains in second place, also with a weekly score of 39 points but poised for an assault on the league leader over this busy period and aiming for a debut season title. His contributions came mainly from captain Kane (4) Grealish (8) Jimenez (7) and Lundstram (6). Washington DC’s Greg C ominously moves up into third, just a point behind second, due to a superb weekly score of 60 points. Doing the business were captain Ings (26) Vardy (9) Baldock (6) and Sterling (5).

Lee Barratt moves down into fourth places with a weekly score of 44 points. This was due to the likes of captain De Bruyne (8) Vardy (9) Lundstram (6) and Sterling (5). Perennial top ten man Danny Milton remains in fifth with a weekly score of 34 points, with contributions only from captain De Bruyne (8) Vardy (9) and Lundstram (6).

Timothy Stigwood remains in sixth with a weekly score of 43 points, due to the likes of captain Kane (4) Cantwell (10) Lundstram (6) and Baldock (6). Last years runner up Mr James remains in seventh, with a weekly score of 46 points. This was thanks to captain Rashford (4) Ings (13) Vardy (9) and Lundstram (6).

Owen Barnes remains in eighth place with a weekly score of 39 points. His only real contributors came from Rashford (4) Cantwell (10) Vardy (9) and Lundstram (6). Nordin Gharib remains in ninth place but closes the gap on 8th to just 1 point due to a very decent 55 point week. This was thanks to Vardy (9) Grealish (8) Jimenez (7) Pope (7) Lundstram (6) Tarkowski (6) Stevens (5).

Tommy Warner moves up for this first foray into the top ten, due to a superb weekly score of 57 points. This was thanks to the likes of captain Rashford (4) Henderson (12) Cantwell (10) Vardy (9) Lundstram (6) and Baldock (6). This weeks Highest Scorer was Natalie Holder who registered a given the circumstances, excellent 62 point week. Doing the business was captain Vardy (18) Cantwell (10) Grealish (8) O’Connell (7) Lundstram (6) and Jesus (6).

This weeks Highest Mover was my old football club mate Oktay Ahmet who has done well considering he started a week late. He moved up four places from 24th to 20th, thanks to a very decent weekly score of 58 points. This was thanks to captain Vardy (18) Pope (7) Lundstram (6) Egan (6) and Baldock (6).
