WEEK 22

This week in the Premier League, Man City trounced Aston Villa 6-1 away. Southampton continued their recent good form to get revenge on Leicester for that record breaking defeat, to record a come from behind 2-1 away win. Liverpool squeezed past Spurs 1-0 away. Watford beat struggling Bournemouth 3-0 away. Man Utd strolled past bottom of the table Norwich 4-0 at home. Chelsea eased past Burnley 3-0 at home. Everton beat Brighton 1-0 at home. Sheff Utd beat West ham by the same score. Arsenal survived a sending off to draw 1-1 at Crystal Palace, also Wolves and Newcastle played out a 1-1 draw at Molineux.

In the ITYIFL, Washington DC’s Greg C remains the top dog via a mere 11 points. This was thanks to a steady 51 point week where his contributions came from vice captain Vardy (10) Richarlison (10) Baldock (6) Alexander-Arnold (6) and Ings (5).

My oldest mate Delroy Preddie remains in second place, also with a steady weekly score of 51 points, thanks to the likes of De Bruyne (18) Ayew (9) Alexander-Arnold (6) and Lundstram (6). Perennial top ten man Danny Milton storms into third place with superb weekly score of 77 points. Doing the business were captain De Bruyne (18) Rashford (12) Martial (8) Salah (6) Lundstram (6) Baldock (6) Henderson (6) Vardy (5) and Ings (5).

Down into fourth is Natalie Stigwood with a weekly score of 56 points. Her main contributions came from captain Mane (6) Rashford (12) Abraham (6) Willian (6) Lundstram (6) Baldock (6) and Vardy (5). In fifth, but on the same points as fourth due to a very decent weekly score of 69 points is Lee Barratt. This was thanks to captain De Bruyne (18) Rashford (12) Dendoncker (10) Salah (6) Egan (6) Henderson (6) and Vardy (5).

Moving up into sixth place from 8th, making him this weeks joint Highest Mover is Mr Ever Present Jeff Franklin with a superb weekly score of 77 points, which also made him this weeks Highest Scorer. Doing the business was captain Rashford (24) De Bruyne (9) Martial (8) Salah (6) Alexander-Arnold (6) Cathcart (6) Lundstram (6) and Ings (5). Remaining in seventh is Timothy Stigwood following a wildcard weekly score of 61 points. This was due to captain Salah (12) De Bruyne (9) Abraham (6) Alexander-Arnold (6) Lundstram (6) Baldock (6) Vardy (5) and Ings (5).

Down into eighth is last years runner up Mr James, with a weekly score of 53 points. His contributions came from captain Vardy (10) De Bruyne (9) Salah (6) Alexander-Arnold (6) Lundstram (6) and Ings (5). Owen Barnes remains in ninth despite a given the circumstances disappointing weekly score of 49 points. His contributions came from captain Mane (6) Rashford (12) Alexander-Arnold (6) Lundstram (6) Henderson (6) and Vardy (5).

This weeks other two joint Highest Movers were my blood brother Wayne Watson, who moved up two places from 13th to 11th due to a weekly score of 64 points. Also, Filipino native Lyn Bautista who moved up two places from 24th to 22nd, due to a weekly score of 66 points, thanks to captain Martial (16) De Bruyne (9) Ayew (9) Abraham (6) Alexander-Arnold (6) Lundstram (6) and Vardy (5).
