WEEK 33

This week in the Premier League, Southampton somehow kept Man City at bay to win 1-0 at home. Arsenal impressed to beat Wolves 2-0 away. Man Utd came from a goal down to beat Bournemouth 5-2 at home. Chelsea comfortably beat Watford 3-0 at home. Leicester also comfortably beat Crystal Palace at home by the same score. Liverpool were sluggish but still managed to beat Villa 2-0 at home. Spurs saw off Everton 1-0 at home. Newcastle came back twice to draw 2-2 at home with West Ham and Sheff Utd drew away at Burnley 1-1.

In the ITYIFL, Danny Milton took a significant step towards becoming the new champions with a superb free hit weekly score of 84 points. This was down to contributions from captain Fernandes (30) Martial (14) Kepa (7) Rashford (6) Salah (6) Pulisic (6) Alexander-Arnold (6) and Robertson (5).

Mr Ever-Present Jeff Franklin is a further 17 points behind, following a 69 point weekly score. This was mainly down to captain Marital (28) Fernandes (15) Salah (6) Alexander-Arnold (6) and Martinez (6). A little way behind but leading the chasing pack is My Arsenal mate Mr James with a slightly disappointing weekly score of 49 points. This was due to Fernandes (15) Saka (10) Salah (6) and Alexander-Arnold (6).

Washington DC’s Greg C moves up into a Champions League place with a decent 63 point week. This was thanks to captain Martial (28) Van Dijk (7) Pulisic (6) Alexander-Arnold (6) and Martinez (6). Lee Barratt remains in fifth, following a 55 point week. This was due to Fernandes (15) Greenwood (13) Van Dijk (7) and Salah (6).

Dropping down two places to sixth is Timothy Stigwood, following a disappointing weekly score of 42 points. His only real contributions came from Vardy (13) Evans (8) and Alexander-Arnold (6). My oldest mate Delroy Preddie remains in seventh, also with a relatively disappointing weekly score of 47 points, where he can only thank the likes of  Vardy (13) Mane (11) Tielemans (6) and Alexander-Arnold (6).

Remaining in eighth, but just one point behind seventh, due to a decent weekly score of 6o points is Natalie Stigwood. This was thanks to Fernandes (15) Vardy (13) Evans (8) Rashford (6) and Gomez (6). Halifa S S remains in ninth, despite a disappointing 43 point week, with contributions only from Martial (14) Salah (6) and Alexander-Arnold (6).

Simon Sebhat moves up into the top ten thanks to a very decent 78 point week, making him this weeks joint Highest Mover, as he moved up three places from 13th. This was due to captain Salah (12) Martial (14) Vardy (13) Greenwood (13) Alisson (9) Pulisic (6) and Alexander-Arnold (6). This weeks Highest Scorer was my middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie with an excellent 88 point week. This also made him this weeks joint Highest Mover as he moved up three places from 24th to 21st. Doing the business was captain Martial (28) Vardy (13) Greenwood (13) Mane (11) Evans (8) and Soyuncu (7).
