I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON SEVEN
WEEK 27
This week in the Premier League, in the Manchester derby, Man Utd snapped Man City’s 21 game winning streak with a 2-0 win at the Etihad. Fulham heaped more misery on Liverpool with a 1-0 win, to confine them to a sixth straight home defeat. Spurs brushed Crystal Palace aside at home 4-1. Thomas Tuchel’s unbeaten start continued as Chelsea beat Everton at home 2-0. West Ham beat Leeds at home by the same score. Leicester came from a goal behind to beat Brighton 2-1 away. Southampton beat Sheff Utd 2-0 away. Arsenal drew at Burnley 1-1. Wolves drew at Aston Villa 0-0 and Newcastle drew at West Brom 0-0. Also, in midweek. Man City bounced back to crush Southampton 5-2 at home.
In the the ITYIFL, perennial top ten man Danny Milton remains in pole position with healthy 41 point lead, thanks to a decent weekly score of 76 points. This was mainly due to the likes of captain Foden (24) Kane (19) Gundogan (10) Martinez (7) and Son (5).
Lee Barratt remains in second, still within touching distance, following his weekly score of 73 points. His contributions came from De Bruyne (16) Dawson (13) Gundogan (10) Fernandes (10) Johnstone (8) and Targett (6). This weeks Highest Scorer by some distance, was my Arsenal Mr James with a whopping 114 points. This puts him ninth in the all time scoring list and could possibly see him back in the title hunt. Doing the business were and especially, triple captain De Bruyne (48) Mahrez (20) Kane (19) Aubameyang (8) Martinez (7) and Targett (6).
This sees the defending champion Jeff Franklin move down one into fourth, with given the above circumstances, a slightly disappointing 67 point weekly score. His contributions came from captain Gundogan (20) Adams (12) Fernandes (10) Targett (6) Coufal (6) and Son (5). Natalie Holder continues her strong top ten status as she moves up to fifth, following a weekly score of 68 points. This was thanks to captain Gundogan (20) Cresswell (12) Fernandes (10) James (8) and Martinez (7).
Moving down to sixth place is former champ ahm Charles Denton, with a very disappointing 48 point week, putting a dent in his top four aspirations. His only real contributions came from Gundogan (10) Fernandes (10) Targett (6) and Lingard (5). This weeks Highest Mover was Owen Barnes, who moved up three places from 10th to 7th, thanks to a very decent 82 point weekly score. This was due to captain Fernandes (20) Kane (19) Cresswell (12) Gundogan (10) Martinez (7) and Targett (6).
My youngest son Latrell Oscar moves up into eighth and really ramps ups his domestic battle with older brother. He scored a decent 76 point week, thanks to captain Gundogan (20) Kane (19) Foden (12) Fernandes (10) Son (5) and Leno (5). Natalie Stigwood moves down to ninth place, following a disappointing weekly score of 56 points. Her only real contributions came from captain Gundogan (20) Cresswell (12) Fernandes (10) and Son (5).
Making up the top ten, and now looking up to his younger brother is my middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie. He scored a disappointing 51 point week, where he can only thank Kane (19) Fernandes (10) and Martinez (7) for their contributions.
Its another quick turnaround to week 28, we are now officially on the final stretch, so make it count y’all.
