I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON EIGHT 

WEEK 21

This very delayed week in the Premier League, Wolves shocked Man Utd beating them 1-0 away. Man City got a late winner to bea Arsenal 2-1 away. West Ham continued their good season beating Crystal Palace 3-2 away. Brighton beat Everton away by the same score. Brentford beat Aston Villa 2-1 at home. Leeds beat Burnley 3-1 at home. Spurs beat Watford 1-0 away and Liverpool drew at Chelsea 2-2 in another thriller. Then, over a week later, Southampton smashed Brentford 4-1 at home and West beat Norwich 2-0 at home.

In the ITYIFL, the defending champion Danny Milton maintains his strangle hold on the league and now back to back titles is looking like a huge possibility. He had an excellent free hit 79 point weekly score, thanks to captain Bowen (42) Antonio (9) Dawson (7) Son (6) and Reguilon (6).

Desperately trying to make a fight of it, my youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar sits in second place, but a massive 93 points behind. He scored a very decent free hit 74 point weekly score, thanks to the likes of captain Antonio (18) Bowen (21) Coufal (12) Salah (7) and Son (6). A further 93 points behind him, is another former champ Jeff Franklin who scored an equally very decent weekly score of 72 points. This was due to captain Antonio (18) Bowen (21) Coufal (12) and Salah (7).

Moving up into the Champions League places, continuing her fine form is Natalie Holder, also with a very decent free hit 75 point weekly score. This  made her this week’s joint Highest Mover as she moved up three places from 7th to 4th. Her contributions came from captain Bowen (42) Edouard (6) Son (6) Laporte (6) and Bernardo (5). Sanjay Beecher remains in fifth, despite an excellent 80 point week, thanks to captain Antonio (18) Bowen (21) Fabianski (9) Son (6) Dier (6) Bernerdo (5) and Jota (5).

Another joint Highest Mover is my old work colleague Mr James who moves up three places from 9th to 6th, also due to an excellent weekly score of 80 points. His contributions came mainly from captain Bowen (42) Antonio (9) Salah (7) and Benrahma (6). This sees Washington DC’s Greg Cabana move down to seventh place, following a relatively disappointing 48 point week, due to captain Antonio (18) Salah (7) Jota (5) and Mbeumo (5).

Tommy Lee is another who is in recent good form and this week’s third joint Highest Mover, as he moves up three places from 11th, into the top ten in 8th. This was due to a decent 68 point weekly score thanks to the likes of captain Salah (14) Bowen (21) Antonio (9) Fabianski (9) and Bernardo (5). Owen Barnes moves down to ninth, following his very disappointing 37 point week, where his only real contributions came from captain Salah (14) Benrahma (6) Coady (6) and Bernardo (5).

Moving down, but just clinging onto a top ten place is Lord Ramdhan with an even more disappointing weekly score of 25 points, which was only due to captain De Bruyne (4) Bernardo (5) and Tierney (4) This week’s Highest Scorer was Nordin Gharib, who scored a superb 87 point free hit weekly score. Doing the business were captain Bowen (42) Coufal (12) Antonio (9) Son (6) and Reguilon (6).
