Fantasy Football S9 WEEK 2 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON NINE

WEEK 2

This week in the Premier League, Brentford embarrassed Man Utd 4-0 at home. Notts Forest beat West Ham at home 1-0. Man City brushed Bournemouth aside 4-0 at home. Arsenal beat Leicester 4-2 at home. Aston Villa beat Everton 2-1 at home. Spurs came back twice to draw 2-2 at Chelsea in a controversial battle of the bridge 2. Southampton came from two down to draw 2-2 at home to Leeds. 10-man Liverpool came from a goal down to draw 1-1 at home to Palace. Newcastle drew 0-0 at Brighton, and Fulham missed an early penalty as they drew at Wolves 0-0.

In the ITYIFL, the new week 2 leader is Natalie Stigwood. This was thanks to a superb 74 point weekly score, due to key contributions from captain Haaland (10) Cancelo (11) Pope (10) Luis Diaz (9) Toney (9) Kane (8) Martinelli (8) and Sterling (5).

In an early domestic battle, Timothy Stigwood is in second place, just a point behind, due to an excellent 76 point week, making him this week’s Highest Scorer. Doing the business were captain Salah (4) Jesus (19) Henderson (14) Foden(9) Luis Diaz (9) Trippier (7) and Dias (6). Down to third, just two points behind second, is my old football clubmate Darren Ahmet, with a not too shabby weekly score of 66 points. His contributions came mainly from captain Haaland (10) Jesus (19) Luis Diaz (9) Martinelli (8) Trippier (7) and Walker (6).

Also moving down but making up a Champions League place is Nordin Gharib, following a 62 point week. This was due to captain Salah (4) Jesus (19) Cancelo (11) Martinelli (8) and Walker (6). After a few disappointing seasons, my coaching partner Francis Norville will hope to continue this good early start, as he moved up to fifth place due to his decent 66 point weekly score. This was thanks to captain Salah (4) Jesus (19) Cancelo (11) Luis Diaz (9) Martinelli (8) James (7) and Dias (6).

My youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar moved up to sixth, following his decent weekly score of 66 points. This was mainly due to captain Haaland (10) Jesus (19) Cancelo (11) Martinelli (8) and James (7). My oldest Nephew Tyrell Miles-Brown moves down to seventh due to a 55 point week, with contributions from Jesus (19) Martinelli (8) James (7) Sanchez (6) Haaland (5) and Sterling (5).

My middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie also moves down, to eighth, following his weekly score of 53 points. This was mainly due to captain Haaland (10) Jesus (19) Cancelo (11) and Perisi? (4). The double champion Danny Milton moved ominously up into ninth, following a decent 65 point week, thanks to captain Haaland (10) Jesus (19) Cancelo (11) Raya (7) and Trippier (7).

In joint ninth, making up the top ten, is another former champ Jeff Franklin, keeping strides with the double champ, and now entering the fourth year of their rivalry. He had a 64 point weekly score due to the likes of captain Haaland (10) Jesus (19) Cancelo (11) Lusi Diaz (9) and James (7). This week’s Highest Mover was Owen Barnes, who moved up seven places from 21st to 14th, thanks to his decent weekly score of 65 points. His contributions came mainly from captain Jesus (38) James (7) and Dias (6).

Full steam ahead to week 3, make it count y’all……
