WEEK 31

This week in the Premier League, Newcastle destroyed Tottenham at home 6-1. West Ham destroyed Bournemouth away 4-0. Leicester got a much-needed win as they beat Wolves 2-1 at home. Liverpool was pegged back twice before beating Notts Forest at home 3-2. Fulham beat Leeds at home 2-1. Arsenal came back from 2-0 and 3-1 down to draw 3-3 at home with Southampton. Brentford drew at home with Aston Villa 1-1 and Crystal Palace drew 0-0 at home with Everton.

In the ITYFL. After going top, former champ Jeff Franklin is showing no signs of relinquishing his lead anytime soon as he stretched his lead at the top to 17 points. Thanks to his free hit 65 point week, with key contributions from captain Salah (13) Saka (11) Martinelli (9) Johnstone (10) Alexander-Arnold (5) and Mitchell (5).

In second place, I have no doubt double champ Danny Milton will be looking to respond in his quest for a 3peat. He had a weekly score of 53 points, mainly due to captain Saka (26) and Kane (6). Just 20 points behind in third is Washington DC’s Greg Cabana, following his weekly score of 54 points. Thanks to captain Salah (14) Martinelli (9) Toney (9) Almiron (4) and White (4).

Natalie Stigwood remains in fourth with a 52 point week. Due to the likes of captain Jesus (4) Saka (13) Toney (9) Schar (8) Tarkowski (6) and N.Williams (6). My former recent work colleague Abdul Rahman remains in fifth, following his decent weekly score of 64 points, due to captain Salah (14) Saka (13) Andreas (10) Martinelli (9) and Kane (6).

Moving up to sixth is Philippines Native Jean Ninal, with a decent 60 point week, thanks to captain Salah (14) Martinelli (9) Andreas (10) Toney (9) Odegaard (7) and Kane (6). Moving down to seventh is Sanja Beecher due to a disappointing 38 point weekly score. With contributions from captain Salah (14) Odegaard (7) Kane (6) and White (4).

My old football clubmate Darren Ahmet moves up to eighth, thanks to his excellent wildcard weekly score of 72 points. Doing the business was captain Salah (14) Jota (13) Saka (13) Andreas (10) Martinelli (9) and White (4). This sees Yours Truly move down to ninth, following my 57 point week due to captain Martinelli (18) Saka (13) Kane (6) N.Williams (6) and Robertson (4).

Moving up into the top ten is another former work colleague and Arsenal mate Mr James, with a decent 68 point weekly score. Thanks to captain Salah (14) Isak (13) Saka (13) Toney (9) and Alexander-Arnold (5). This week’s joint Highest Scorers were first, another former champ ahm Charles Denton, who had a superb 73 point week. Doing the business was captain Martinelli (18) Saka (13) Joelinton (12) Toney (9) Salah (7) and Kane.

Secondly, my coaching partner Francis Norville whose 73 point weekly score was due to vice-captain Martinelli (18) Cresswell (12) Saka (13) Toney (9) Odegaard (7) and Schar (8). There was no Highest Mover this week, as only five managers moved up, and all five only moved up one place.
