Fantasy Football S10 WEEK 5 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON TEN

WEEK 5

This week in the Premier League, Brighton are making a habit of brushing Man Utd aside as they secured 3-1 win at Old Trafford. Spurs completed the latest comeback and winning goal in Premier League history to beat Sheff Utd 2-1 at home.

Man City came from a goal down to beat West Ham 3-1 away. Liverpool also came from a goal down to beat Wolves 3-1 away. Arsenal finally got a win at Everton, beating them 1-0. Aston Villa scored two late goals to beat Palace at home 3-1.

Newcastle needed a controversial penalty to beat Brentford 1-0 at home. Fulham beat Luton at home 1-0. Forest needed a wonder goal to draw 1-1 at home to Burnley, and Chelsea drew 0-0 at Bournemouth.

In the ITYFL, it was a very low-scoring week, which benefitted league leader Sanjay Beecher, who remains on top with a 20 point lead, following his weekly score of 46 points. Thanks to captain Haaland (12) Salah (10) Gusto (6) and Watkins (5).

Former champ, ahem Charles Denton remains in second with a 48 point week. Due to captain Haaland (12) Trippier (8) Saka (6) Saliba (6) and Disasi (5). My oldest nephew Tyrell Miles-Brown remains in third following a 43 point weekly score, with contributions from captain Haaland (12) Ward-Prowse (7) Saka (6) Dige (5) and Areola (4).

Owen Barnes moves up to fourth with a decent weekly score of 51 points, thanks to captain Haaland (12) Botman (9) Leno (6) Saka (6) Saliba (5) and Diaby (5). This week’s Highest Mover was another former champ, my youngest boy Latrell Oscar. He moved up to eight places from 13th to 5th, thanks to his superb 64 point week, which also made him this week’s Highest Scorer. Doing business was captain Haaland (12) Sanchez (10) Alvarez (9) Gusto (6) Saka (6) Diaby (5) Digne (5) and Watkins (5).

My blood brother Wayne Watson remains in sixth due to his weekly score of 44 points, with contributions from captain Haaland (12) Salah (10) Saka (6) and Saliba (6). My coaching partner Francis Norville moves up to seventh, thanks to his decent 52 point weekly score. Following captain Haaland (12) Salah (10) Trippier (8) Saliba (6) and Areola (4).

Moving down to eighth (technically joint seventh), and sadly, the only manager to move down in the top ten is Yours Truly. I scored a disappointing 40 point week, with contributions from Salah (10) Haaland (6) Saka (6) and Saliba (6). My Spurs mate Keith Wilson remains in ninth following his weekly score of 44 points, mainly due to captain Haaland (12) Gross (10) Leno (6) and Saka (6).

My oldest son, under his alias Tommy Devito, moves up to tenth place, due to his decent 53 point weekly score. Thanks to captain Haaland (12) Trippier (8) Pope (6) Gabriel (5) and Watkins (5).

Full steam ahead to week six, make it count ya’ll.
