Bournemouth beat 10-man Notts Forest 3-2 away. Spurs beat Everton 2-1 at home.Arsenal drew 1-1 at Liverpool. Aston Villa needed a last-minute goal to draw 1-1 at home to Sheff Utd, and Brighton drew 1-1 at Crystal Palace.
In the ITYFL, although his lead at the top has been cut, Owen Barnes is the Christmas number one, following a steady 41 point weekly score. Due to captain Salah (14) Archer (8), and Son (7).
Moving up to second place, and must be thinking of a legit title challenge, is my coaching partner, Francis Norville. His excellent 73 point week makes him this week’s Highest Scorer. Doing the business was a smart captain choice of Solanke (34), Areola (8) Odegaard (8) Salah (7), and Son (7).
My oldest son, under his alias Tommy Devito, moves down to third despite his decent weekly score of 53 points, due to Gabriel (10) Areola (8) Bowen (8) Bell (7), and Son (7).
Congrats to the top three who have broken the 1000 point barrier.
Also moving down is my middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie, to fourth place, following a modest 37 point weekly score. His main contributions came from captain Watkins (4) Bell (7) Salah (7) Son (7), and Vicario (6).
My blood brother Wayne Watson also moved down, to fifth place, due to his very modest 30 point week. Only vice-captain Salah (14) and Sarabia (7) providing any significant points. Former champ, ahem Charles Denton is in joint fifth, following his 45 point weekly score. Due to captain Watkins (4) Solanke (17) Bowen (8), and Sterling (4).
Former champ, champ Danny Milton remains in seventh place, due to his decent weekly score of 53 points. His main contributions came from captain Son (14) Solanke (17), and Bowen (8). Sanjay Beecher stays in eighth, with a 43 point week, following captain Watkins (4) Solanke (17), and Salah (7).
This week’s Highest Mover was the defending double champ Jeff Franklin, who moved up four places from 13th to 9th, due to his very decent 57 point weekly score. Thanks to captain Salah (14) Solanke (17) Bowen (8), and Son (7). Moving down but remaining in the top ten is my Spurs mate Keith Wilson, with a weekly score of 39 points, his main contributions came from Solanke (17) and Bowen (8).
It’s a quick turnaround to the Boxing Day games, Merry Christmas y’all.
