I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON TEN
WEEK 30
This week in the Premier League, Newcastle came from 3-1 down at home to West Ham to win 4-3 in a dramatic game. Ten-man Burnley came back twice to draw 2-2 at Chelsea. Fulham came from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 at Sheff Utd.
Liverpool came from a goal down at home to beat Brighton 2-1 and go top of the table. Spurs also came from a goal down to beat Luton 2-1 at home. Aston Villa eased past Wolves 2-0 at home, while Bournemouth beat Everton 2-1 at home.
Brentford got a dramatic late equaliser at home to Man Utd, who thought they had scored a dramatic late winner, ending the game in a 1-1 draw. Palace drew 1-1 at Forest, and in a game that promised a lot but delivered very little, Arsenal drew 0-0 at Man City to stop City’s 57 game run of scoring at home.
In the ITYFL, after a few weeks off the top, my middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie is back leading the league table thanks to his decent 57 point week. Due to captain Salah (14) Martinez (10) Saliba (7) Solanke (7) and Gabriel (6).
Moving up to second, just three points behind, is the defending two-time champion and the March manager of the month Jeff Franklin, following his very decent 65 point weekly score. Thanks mainly to captain Son (20) Palmer (15) Gordon (8), and Solanke (7).
Owen Barnes moves up to third, just five points from second, due to his very decent weekly score of 67 points. Thanks to captain Son (20) Palmer (15) Salah (7) Saliba (7), and Solanke (7).
Former league leader Sanjay Beecher drops to fourth but is still within touching distance following his 50 point week, with contributions from mainly captain Salah (14) Palmer (15) and Muniz (6).
In fifth is this week’s Highest Scorer, the former back-to-back champ Danny Milton, thanks to a weekly score of 69 points. Doing the business were captain Son (20) Palmer (15) Johnson (8) Salah (7) Gabriel (6), and Toney (5). My oldest son, under his alias Tommy Devito remains in sixth, following his decent 57 point weekly score, with contributions from Palmer (15) Gordon (8) Saliba (7) Solanke (7) and White (6).
Former champ, ahem Charles Denton remains in seventh place due to his 57 point week, following captain Son (10) Palmer (15) Gabriel (6) and Muniz (6). This sees my coaching partner Francis Norville move down to eighth due to his modest 49 point week. His main contributions came from captain Salah (14) Saliba (7) Solanke (7), and Gabriel (6).
My youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar stays in ninth, following his wildcard weekly score of 55 points, due to captain Salah (14) Palmer (15) Gabriel (6), and Muniz (6). Moving up into joint tenth is Washington DC’s Greg Cabana, thanks to his 57 point weekly score, following contributions from captain Salah (14) Konsa (15) Saliba (7), and Solanke (7).
This week’s Highest Mover is my former work colleague and Arsenal mate Mr James, who moved up three places from 13th to joint 10th due to his very decent 66 point week. Thanks to his smart captain choice of Palmer (30) also, Son (10) Salah (7) and Raya (5).
It’s a quick turnaround to the midweek games, so make it count y’all.
