I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON FIVE

WEEK 5

This week in the Premier League. In the big match of the weekend. Liverpool impressed to beat Spurs at Wembley 2-1. West Ham got their first points of the season by beating Everton 3-1 away. Chelsea beat Cardiff 4-1. Man Utd ended Watford 100% start with a 2-1 away win. Bournemouth beat Leicester at home 4-2. Man City brushed aside Fulham at home 3-0. Arsenal beat Newcastle 2-1 away. Palace sneaked past Huddersfield away 1-0. Wolves beat Burnley 1-0 at home, with Southampton and Brighton playing out a 2-2 draw.

In the ITYIFL. Halifa S S remains on top and even extended a lead that was previously 13 points, to now 31. A superb 76 point week. The third best, was down to captain Hazard (40) Zaha (7) Lukaku (6) Walker (6) and Patricio.

My Arsenal mate Mr James has now moved into second place. This was due to a decent 69 point week, thanks to the likes of captain Aguero (14) Ings (7) Lacazette (5) Fraser (18) David Silva (11) and Bennett (6). Newcomer Sanjay Beecher drops down to third. His 53 points was due to captain Aguero (14) Wan-Bissaka (9) Walker (6) Bennett (6) and Hennessey (6).

Making up the Champions League places, is another newcomer Simon Sebhat with a very respectable 74 points this week. Thanks to contributions from captain Hazard (40) Firmino (9) Zaha (7) and Walker (6). Consolidating in fifth is Lee Barratt. Whose 57 points was due to captain Aguero (14) Firmino (9) Sterling (8) Wan-Bassaka (9) and Bennett (6).

This weeks Highest Mover. Up from 13th into sixth is Yours Truly. Due to the second highest weekly total of 77, proving the decision to play my wildcard a good one. Doing the business for me were captain Hazard (40) Aguero (7) Eriksen (5) Alexander-Arnold (6) and Patricio (6). Down into seventh, is my Spurs mate Keith Wilson, with a disappointing weekly score of 31, especially after a wildcard decision. Where the only real contributions came from captain Aguero (14) and Wilson (4).

Moving up into eighth place comes Danny Milton with a respectable weekly score of 64 points. This was thanks to captain Aguero (14) Hazard (20) Wan-Bissaka (9) and Ederson (7). Also moving up into ninth place, is ahm Charles Denton with a weekly score of 61. Where he can thank the likes of captain Aguero (14) Firmino (9) Zaha (7) Sakho (8) Alexander-Arnold (6) and Ederson (7).

Making up the top ten is my oldest son Romario Martin. Although a disappointing weekly score of 39. Which was mainly contributed by Firmino (9) Eriksen (5) Van Aanholt (6) and Ederson (7). This weeks Highest Scorer was Tommy Warner with 79 points. Thanks to the likes of captain Hazard (40) Arnautovic (12) Firmino (9) and Bennett (6).

Full steam ahead to week six ya’ll. Make it count.
