Fantasy Football WEEK 4 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON FIVE

WEEK 4

This week in the Premier League. Watford came from behind to beat Spurs 2-1 to maintain their 100% record and end Spurs’. Wolves shocked West Ham with a last-minute goal for a 1-0 win. Arsenal sneaked past Cardiff 3-2 in a thriller. Man City beat Newcastle 2-1. Southampton beat a Zaha less Palace away 2-0. Man Utd beat Burnley by the same score. As did Chelsea over Bournemouth. Liverpool just snaked past Leicester 2-1. Brighton came from two behind to draw with Fulham 2-2, while Everton and Huddersfield drew 1-1.

In the ITYIFL. We have a new league leader. Halifa SS moved to the top of the table with, given the circumstances, a superb score of 81, to be this weeks Highest Scorer. Thanks to the likes of captain Hazard (22) Lukaku (12) Mane (10) Lucas Moura (5) Walker (10) Shaw (5) Mendy (5) and Patricio (7).

Maintaining his position in second is newcomer Sanjay Beecher, following a decent weekly total of 57. Due to captain Mane (20) Aguero (6) Walker (10) Bennett (5) and Hennessey (8). Down into third, from top, is my spurs mate Keith Wilson with a weekly score of 37 and will be disappointed with a bench boost decision. His only contributors were captain Salah (4) Lucas Moura (5) Alonso (9) and Robertson (5).

Making up the Champions League places In fourth is my Arsenal mate Mr James. With a decent weekly score of 63, thanks to contributions from captain Aguero (12) Aubameyang (8) Ings (8) Lucas Moura (5) Alonso (9) Robertson (5) Mendy (5) and McCarthy (8). Up into fifth, from eleventh, making him this week’s joint Highest Mover is Lee Barratt with a very decent score of 65. Doing the business were captain Aguero (12) Firmino (7) Mane (10) Sterling (10) Mendy (5) Bennett (5) Shaw (5) and De Gea (5).

Maintaining sixth place is another newcomer Simon Sebhat, with a respectable tally of 50. He can thank the likes of Hazard (11) Firmino (7) Walker (10) Mendy (5) and Robertson (5). Down into seventh is my oldest son Romario Martin, whose weekly total of 43 was mainly due to contributions from Firmino (7) Mane (10) and Alonso (9).

Up into eighth is last years runner-up Grec C. This was thanks to points from captain Mane (20) Walker (10) and Robertson (5) for a weekly total of 47. Down into ninth is Kool FM’s Pressure X. Whose only contributions came from captain Aguero (12) Bertrand (6) and Mendy (5) for a mediocre weekly points total of 38.

Moving up into the top ten is ahm ahm Charles Denton. Thanks to an early triple captain decision on Aguero (18). Firmino (7) and Mendy (5). This weeks other joint Highest Mover is my longest friend, Hayes and Yeading’s Delroy Preddie. Who was one of four who came in a week late. But can thank captain captain Aguero (12) Cathcart (11) and De Gea (6) for a weekly score of 48 that moved him up from 29th to 22nd.

Unfortunately there is no Premier League fixtures next week due to the international break. On the plus side, we get a chance to see what this new “exciting” nations league format is all about, with competitive international games and no more boring friendlies. (yah) See ya’ll on the other side
