I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON TEN
WEEK 32
This week in the Premier League. Arsenal comfortably eased past Brighton 3-0 away to go top. Man City came from an early goal down to win 4-2 at Palace. After dominating the first half, Liverpool needed a late penalty to draw 2-2 at Man Utd.
Spurs beat Notts Forest 3-1 at home. Aston Villa went two up but needed a late goal to draw 3-3 at home to Brentford. Luton scored a late goal to defeat Bournemouth 2-1 at home.
West Ham beat Wolves 2-1 away. Newcastle beat Fulham 1-0 away while Everton beat Burnley 1-0 at home, and Sheff Utd stunned Chelsea with a stoppage-time goal to draw 2-2 at home.
In the ITYFL, the defending two-time champ Jeff Franklin remains on top but is certainly looking over his shoulder with six game weeks to go. He scored a 52 point week, due to the likes of captain Haaland (16) Luiz Diaz (7) Gabriel (6) Darwin (5) Palmer (5) and Son (5).
Cutting the lead at the top to a slender three points is former back-to-back champ, Danny Milton. Thanks to his decent 60 point weekly score. Following captain Palmer (10) Haaland (8) Morris (8) Salah (8) Brainthwaite (6) Gabriel (6) Son (5), and Neto (4).
Just four points behind, my middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie moves into third, showing he is still fighting for this title. He had a very decent weekly score of 70 points, thanks to captain Palmer (10) Watkins (13) Saka (10) Haaland (8) Salah (8) Gabriel (6) Kluivert (6) and Saliba (5).
Sanjay Beecher moves down into fourth, losing ground on the top three due to his disappointing 44 point weekly score, with contributions from captain Salah (16) Haaland (8) Bailey (5) and Palmer (5).
Staying in fifth place is Owen Barnes, following his weekly score of 56 points, with captain Son (10) Watkins (13) Pedro Porro (11) Salah (8) and Palmer (5). In sixth is this week’s Highest Scorer, my oldest son, under his alias Tommy Devito, thanks to his superb 82 point week. Doing the business was captain Watkins (26) De Bruyne (18) Saka (10) Schar (7) Palmer (5) Saliba (5), and White (5).
Former champ, ahem Charles Denton, remains in seventh due to a decent 63 point weekly score. His contributions came from captain Palmer (10) Pedro Porro (11) Saka (10) Haaland (8) Gabriel (6) Son (5), and White (5). My coaching partner Francis Norville stays in eighth, following his decent weekly score of 69 points, due to captain Palmer (10) Watkins (13) Saka (10) Pickford (8) Salah (8) Gabriel (6) Darwin (5) and Saliba (5).
Moving up to ninth is my youngest son, Latrell Oscar, due to an excellent 80 point week, thanks to captain Saka (20) De Bruyne (18) Haaland (8) Salah (8) Gabriel (6) Raya (6) Darwin (5) and Palmer (5). This sees Timothy Stigwood move down to tenth, despite his decent 62 point weekly score. Following captain Haaland (16) Watkins (13) Saka (10) Gabriel (6) Palmer (5), and Saliba (5).
There was no Highest Mover this week, as only four managers moved up, but all by one place only. They were Jahsiah Tobierrie, Latrell Oscar, Greg Cabana and Nordin Gharib.
Full steam ahead to week 33, make it count y’all.
