I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON SEVEN

WEEK 23

This week in the Premier League, Man City trounced Liverpool 4-1 at Anfield, with the aid of two Alisson howlers. Aston Villa beat Arsenal 1-0 at home. Leeds beat Palace 2-0 at home. 10 man Newcastle held on to beat Southampton 3-2 at home. Chelsea beat Sheff Utd 2-1 away. Spurs beat WBA 2-0 at home. Everton scored with virtually the last kick of the game to draw 3-3 at Man Utd. Burnley drew 1-1 at home to Brighton. Fulham drew 0-0 at home to West Ham and Leicester drew 0-0 at Wolves.

In the ITYIFL, its very much as you were, as there was very limited movement in the top ten. However, league leader Lee Barratt stretched his lead at the top to 27 points, thanks to a very decent 73 point weekly score. This was due to captain Fernandes (14) Calvert-Lewin (12) Justin (9) Sterling (8) Cavani (8) Salah (7) and Targett (7).

Perennial top ten man Danny Milton remains in second place, losing ground slightly, following a weekly score of of 63 points. This was due to the likes of Son (10) Martinez (9) Cresswell (9) Kane (8) Fernandes (7) Salah (7) and Bamford (6). Defending champion Jeff Franklin makes up a little ground in third, with a weekly score of 69 points. This was thanks to captain Son (20) Fernandes (7) Salah (7) Targett (7) Bamford (5) Coufal (5) Rashford (5) and Sanchez (5).

Natalie Holder keeps her good recent form going, as she remains in the Champions League places following her 62 point weekly score, which could have been even better if 10 point Jorginho wasn’t on the bench. Her contributions came from captain Fernandes (14) Cresswell (9) Justin (9) Sterling (8) Salah (7) and Bamford (6). My Arsenal mate Mr James remains in fifth, following his 66 point week. This was due to captain Fernandes (14) Dallas (12) Cresswell (9) Martinez (9) Sterling (8) and Bamford (6).

Former champ ahm Charles Denton remains in the running in sixth place, with a weekly score of 64 points. This was due to captain Fernandes (14) Gundogan (13) Calvert-Lewin (12) Justin (9) and Salah (7). My middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie remains in seventh, with a weekly score of 65 points. This was due to contributions from captain Fernandes (14) Calvert-Lewin (12) Justin (9) Martinez (9) Salah (7) and Bamford (6).

The first bit of movement in the top ten sees Natalie Stigwood move up to eighth place, with a very decent 74 point weekly score, thanks to the likes of captain Fernandes (14) Gundogan (13) Son (10) Justin (9) Salah (7) Bamford (6) and Areola (6). In ninth place, moving up three places from 12th, making him this weeks Highest Mover is Owen Barnes, thanks to a decent weekly score of 68 points. This was due to the likes of captain Fernandes (14) Gundogan (13) Son (10) Justin (9) Martinez (9) and Bamford (6).

My youngest son Latrell Oscar moves down, but remains in the top ten, following a relatively disappointing 48 point weekly score, with contributions only from captain Son (20) Martinez (9) and Salah (7). This weeks Highest Scorer was Timothy Stigwood with an excellent 80 point week. Doing the business was captain Bamford (12) Calvert-Lewin (12) Dallas (12) Son (10) Martinez (9) Salah (7) Fernandes (7) and Struijk (6).

No midweek league fixtures due to FA Cup games, so for a change managers have a full week to plan, make it count y’all.
